During difficult times, we shouldn't be looking to add 10-20% of your home value in additional debt to the mortgage just so you can afford a vehicle. Perhaps the best alternative is to wait a bit and see how things turn out before risking your home as well. Just my last .02 on this subject.

I'd compare it to the price range of modern SUVs. They are all in the $30-$40K range. No Standard SUV is currently priced around or below $20K.

I’ll be swapping to K02s. Daily driving MTs that will see zero off-road is not worth the hassle. K02 have the grip for off road, the smoothness for daily driving and still give you that aggressive off road look.
