A few people have been asking about a lighter shade. We ran a few test and have a light silver and gun metal grey version. Pictured here next to the black, what do u think? The lightest silver almost looks white, and I love the result. We could do a limited run on these if there is interest.
Sorry, I missed your post. The thicker washers are only needed on some hardtop, ones with a raised edge at the forward most bolt holes. Here are some pic's. The 4 mm washer helps the bolt clear the "Lip". You would remove the 1.5 mm washer and replace it with the 4mm. -G
We are a little behind, but wrapping up assembly and packaging in the next week, I expect them to be here and to start shipping all the Torx orders the week of the 12 Sept. This was the first run of these so it took a little longer than usual. Cheers, Grant
Thanks for sharing!! The cyber orange seems a little lighter but looks great. The metallic anodized finish definitely reflects light/ color differently, but that is why I love the finish! Also just feels good:)
Looks good! We are working on testing a few alternatives, making them slightly thicker is definitely an option! Have not tried that yet. There is a little "give' in our current washers, making them thicker may provide just enough give for that extra turn.
The threads are both the same, so M8. We removed the D ring portion to fit under the roof panels but add the Torx T 40 Head to assist with tightening and removal if needed. Hope that helps, G
They can be made to line up pretty close but will never be 100% aligned unless you have some bolts a little loser but they will rattle loose on the trail, so not recommended. We are going to do some testing on an additional rubber washer that will solve for this. I will post here when we have...
