Exactly, but if they are moving it to granger it’s because they are going to convert it to an order. The more orders granger converts in MY21, the more allocations they’ll get for those october reservations that will be MY22s. Just a theory.
I don’t think that is necessarily true. I personally believe that people reserving with Granger are the most serious about moving theirs to real orders. If that’s the case, their allocations will go higher. Simple math for Ford.
Outer banks already has an automatic transmission in the price, black diamond does not. Since SASQUATCH can only be sold this model year with an automatic transmission, the black diamond config has to add the transmission cost to the Sasquatch cost. Probably isn’t exact though because the black...
There’s also the possibility the dealer converts a higher percentage than expected and Ford increases their allocation number. The first allocation number will be different than the actual number.
Bingo. Try to market something to take you and your gear to far off adventures, but don’t get the 2.7L engine or your prop guy will have to bring the surfboards ???
My thought process was either Badlands w/Sasquatch or Badlands w/Lux. I opted for the bells and whistles now, and will upgrade my own wheels and tires later.
I’m not sure how your dealer can tell you that for sure since reservations haven’t converted to orders yet. What if they have 2/3 of their reservations cancel without orders. You are then MY21. Zach was as clear as he could be without knowing how many will convert.
This reason right here is why everyone has to order now even if they think they won’t get one until 2022. People will not know for sure until later this year their orders will make this years orders or pushed out.
So far it appears dealers are getting about 30% of their total reservations allocated, I presume to cover what Ford can effectively build in MY21. Hopefully Granger is in line with that percentage ??
Not sure if you noticed but the Order guide released yesterday states that if you get Badlands without Sasquatch, you won't be able to get 4.7 gearing, even though B&P allows it. I think there will be a lot of disappointed people that wanted to do aftermarket wheels and 35s.
