  1. Help me decide... Eruption Green vs Velocity Blue

    Are you planning any graphics?
  2. RADIO ISSUES

yep, I have to click on the apps button to then select audio and then fm. This is a lot of time to stare at three different screens for me while driving. Other cars have a button for smartphone, radio, nav... that turns this into a one step process where one may not even have to look at the...
  3. RADIO ISSUES

Hmmm, I found one article stating that both bluetooth and wireless have to be turned on for wireless carplay to work. I don't know if this problem persists when you also have the phone plugged into the usb port. There are some other options listed as well when focusing on this as an iphone...
  4. RADIO ISSUES

We have the same setup. Getting to FM is annoying as we have to select through several options to get there. I'm the primary driver as well and because my wife's phone is named with characters lower in the alphabet, she becomes the primary when we take the vehicle, also annoying. Are your two...

If I stretch, I'm 5'10. I used to jump in, until I damaged my knee on the steering surround

agreed, I looked into upgrading it, but didn't make sense. Leather - katzkin $2K, Headlights - Oracle (loved these on my jeep) $1K, LED Tail lights - Oracle $400. I didn't look into upgrading to the 11" screen - 8 is great for me... swaybar disconnects are interesting to me, my off roading may...

I believe the BD SAS has 11.5 " of clearance, I may be wrong, but this translated to awkward moments for my wife to get into it :) I replaced the rock crawler side bar with these.

My jeep had more interior 'color' than the bronco, I found a few pieces of interior trim to update it. I did not go for the full package as I thought that simply was too much for me.

@Gazza Thanks, so as usual it takes me a month to notice this and respond, sorry. I think the only change I would make is to move the bronco emblem down and over by about an inch as others have. I also wasn't sure about the color. The stainless 'finish' was supposed to match the beauty rings...
  10. 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser World Premiere 📣 Hybrid Only For U.S. and Pricing Starts Mid-$50K

Yep, I like variety :) The bronco feels like a keeper for me though, time will tell!
  11. 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser World Premiere 📣 Hybrid Only For U.S. and Pricing Starts Mid-$50K

As a kid, I bought a new 1991 land cruiser, using the excuse to bring home my first born son and have something uber solid and cool. It was a fantastic and safe family hauler and possibly had the longest tenure of all vehicles I have owned in my life, 4 yrs. I switched to suburbans after...
  12. What made you choose Bronco over Jeep Wrangler?

I traded my 21 wrangler sport 2.0 2dr for my 23 bronco black diamond sasquatch 2.7 4dr The wrangler was surprisingly quick, but had that 'wrangler' ride. I had a couple of other wranglers in my life which I was always disappointed to loose, I'm still a fan. I do like the ride on the bronco...
  13. Oh Hail! Any suggestions?

I live in an area where hail is very common and yes, I see hail damage on the listings for vehicles as a deterrent. Agreed on the question of how long you plan to keep this, 8 years or so, then it shouldn't make that much of a difference on the value you get when selling it. but a damaged...
  14. Seconds thoughts (remorse) about my Badlands

I'm loving my Black Diamond with the SAS package, I just went grocery shopping and am planning to go to the mall later this weekend, maybe I'll hit a puddle. I'm physically not as capable as it is. My knee is still recovering/smarting after jumping into it and hitting the edge of steering...

Sorry, just saw this. I used a hair dryer, it didn't take too much heat and I was careful to peel slowly and as far across the decal that I could to avoid stretching it or causing bubble like issues. But I did find a vendor whom sold replacements if I hosed it up, they were about $70 each
  16. Is it worth it? Are they safe enough?

Interesting post. I've raised 3 boys(oldest is 34) and have a 4th with a learners permit. They all went through a masters drive program, winter driving skills and a lot of parental patience. I believed in surrounding them with a larger vehicle. I have purchased 2 4-runners, 2 Subaru...
  17. Sold out - FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKETS For Your Bronco

I purchased a black metal license plate holder which had the feature to slide the license plate into it. It seems sturdy enough being attached with only the bolts on the bottom, but I will probably need to bend down the tabs up top if I see travel.
  18. Sold out - FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKETS For Your Bronco

Well, I was all smiles about my new license plate holder until this happened... Just kidding with being shown up with the bronco in front, the license plate bracket is working great!

I moved the black diamond emblem towards the bottom. They hockey sticks extend across the top of the hood as well. Found them on extreme terrain for a great price.
