It’s the internet. People don’t know what they want until someone tells them.
See the number of threads about people asking about spacer lift options and being told to buy Fox coilovers.
Why are people trying so hard to force this? Let the trends develop organically instead of copying a Jeep trend and adding a twist.
For me, it's not about someone touching my car or fear of damage or anything. I just think it's so incredibly lame to copy another community's traditions.
The question was to the OP. He’s stated in the thread a couple of times that the bump stops don’t need to be that large.
The question is: If the bump stops don’t need to be that large, why did Ford make them that large?
I’m well aware of what all goes into it. I’m not saying the part pricing is unjustified, the majority of the stuff is super high quality either made to order or in small batches.
Still hurts the wallet though when you shell out $1500 for a tube bumper.
I don’t think it’s that Bronco owners don’t want to wave, more that there was a trend for a little while around here of trying to create a Bronco specific wave and a form of ducking but specific to Broncos and it all just seemed so contrived and desperate.
I think in reality the Bronco will...
There was a point where I may have went for a Gladiator instead if the price was right. It would need to be quite a bit more than $1k under MSRP though.
