Yeah, same here and I think there are more left there than we'd like to know. I was set to ship 10/3, then airbag recall 10/4. Missed by a day and now I don't expect to see it until Spring if lucky.

Dang! I thought my 8/11 was bad! Hope you're not stuck with the airbag recall like me! I got a shipping email 10/3, then recall notice 10/4 and back to Dirt Mountain.

Haha, no. Dealer has been great, but nothing they can do. They were pumped when they thought it was being shipped as I'm their only FE order.

Built 8/11, shipped email 10/3, recall 10/4, and went back to DM! I think once it became a formal recall we got screwed! You’re now dealing with a government agency. If you look at the NHTSA website, it is still awaiting a resolution number. So, Ford can’t do anything until the “resolution”...

This would be the first news I’ve heard on the airbag issue since recall was announced, so it would be great if you have any more detail!

Good to know, thanks! I guess. My hope was they would quickly replace any at MAP once recall plan is approved. If they are going to ship them to dealers, this makes it sound like the plan is for all of them to be fixed at the dealer. Probably not much time difference I guess.

If we're measuring, I was thinking last night that I'll likely win in the end when all votes are in! 8:03pm reservation, DM and airbag recall. Yep, finally going to win something!

My guess, based on the build weeks is that most of these are still sitting at DM, including mine.

For my DM family in this new recall fiasco(my Bronco scheduled to ship Oct 6), it is OK to give up. I for one, am happy with my alternate choice! My FE was meant for someone else at this point, and I'll come back around when(sorry, if) I can trust Ford suppliers(don't want to blame MAP...

Maybe this explains why I went from Built to In Production overnight. Dealer and regional rep expected it to ship today. I guess not now.
