Having a reservation with the dealer is fine. What I think is important here is understanding that it doesn't mean anything in regard to your place in line with Ford. I also doubt you will have Ford backed price protection. You are at the mercy of the dealer and I have lurked these forums long...
It's things like this that made me glad I lurked on Bronco 6G forums for months. Waiting can be bearable if you manage expectations. Being told you have a reservation when you don't is slimy sales tactics and will only lead to a poor experience.
I echo the allocation comments above. I feel that...
My reservation was placed on 8/10/2021. I placed my first and only order in 9/30/2022. I'm already scheduled to be built in November. I believe that you can change your dealer if you didn't place an order yet. I received an email that I had to click through in order for the dealer to view my...

It'd be cool if they offered follow up sessions that you can have more freedom with. Like several tiers with each getting more technical and less restrictive. I haven't been to one but I can imagine reaching the max speed and feeling that urge to push it a little bit more.
The emails states "Unconverted reservations will be required to be converted to orders and also require verification".
Is a reservation that has not been converted to an order still a retail order?
Is my unconverted Aug 10, 2021 reservation still valid?
I'm ready (financially) and I'd like...
Are there any factors other than build configuration that may affect wait time?
I.e. Dealerships make money in financing their vehicles as opposed to when people pay cash. Could that influence them processing orders?
