I bought a 2wd Ranger with a five speed about ten years ago. I wanted to make it look better by putting the 4x4 tire size on it. After that I had to slip the clutch a lot to get it going and hold gears a lot longer. It may just be that the clutch and the gearing they want to use just won't hold...
Cactus Grey two door badlands for me! I prefer a white top verses the black top but GordoJones posted a pic of one with a silver top with silver wheels. I think this is my favorite! Ok, Maybe that was a white top. My bad. Power saving mode on my computer keeps dimming the screen on me.
If you look at the upgrade charge on a F150 to go from the 3.3L V6 to the 2.7L eco boost is $995 and that includes automatically upgrading the transmission from the six speed to the ten speed. I would think that this will be the same with the Bronco.
The fuel tank size concerns me as well. I wouldn't mind carrying a extra gas can on the tailgate but that would mean putting the spare on a roof rack. Not what I want to do.
I was sold on the Sasquatch, but after reading more about the Badlands this weekend I don't know if it is necessary on this trim level. The Sasquatch package really looks cool but I think people need to be realistic about how much time they will be spending off road.
