There's really not much about the new Scout that reminds me of the old Scouts. They missed the boat on that one, IMO. Looks like a bunch of the other SUVs already on the market.
Should have made the Whataburger Edition, with three cupholders per seat for your drinks, fries, and shakes. With fold down tray tables. Orange exterior with paper-bag brown leather seats.
They were a great price. I like them a lot. Time will tell if the coating holds up, but for somewhere between 1/3rd the price and 1/2 the price of some other options, I'm a happy customer.
Well, does seem like a simple fix to grind and re-weld the bumper. Not sure if a dealership can replicate the coating in just that spot. But for sure, the grinding and welding there is pretty basic.
Yeah, the panoramic roofs consistently leaking and breaking and dumping water all over your dash, door and floorboard were not enough to warrant a recall. Only when the glass spontaneously shatters does it warrant a recall, lol.
I dislike almost all of the factory wheels, and it doesn't matter which manufacturer it is. The 20" wheels on my 2015 F-150 are cheap pieces of junk with the "chrome" that started peeling off after about 100,000 miles.

Thanks for posting the photo. I had to jiggle the seat a bit to get the seat back to go all the way down. Meh, it's on my list to remove the back seats anyway.
