Indeed, should! Lots of factors. She's also more around town and I'm more highway miles, which makes it even weirder. Anyways, we're both very pleased with what we're getting!
Well, there is now less oil globally. So, technically, there is in fact a shortage. So who gets the oil depends on who pays the piper. Oil companies aren't motivated to keep the oil in the US just because it was produced here if prices are better elsewhere.
The issue then becomes when Mexico and Venezuela, and even domestic producers are tempted to sell internationally because they're being offered higher prices by the folks that would have bought oil elsewhere. That demand can create a bit of shortages. It's a global market.
I've wondered about the accuracy of the fuel efficiency guage in my 2 door 7 speed. But, for highway miles, it's reasonably accurate. I make a 262-mile trip twice a week and I fill up when I leave and arrive with about a quarter of a tank left. So it's in the 19-20mpg range. But, I pretty...
My 2022 2 door base model 7 speed 2.3 told me I was getting 21mpg with the 29" duelers. After I changed out wheels and tires to 34.6" tires, It's telling me about 19.5. The 19.5 is about 2.6% high since I didn't quite nail the Forscan adjustment on the new tire diameter. So, still around...
It's an "above the line" deduction, too, meaning you don't have to itemize your deductions in order to take it. I bought a used Bronco just before they passed this.
Yeah, and I've casually looked around for an aftermarket that doesn't open. No luck so far and the folks at one of the F150 forums hadn't seen one in the wild, either.
Yep. $650 repair on mine. That failed. $2k replacement expense followed. THAT one also failed. The frustrating thing about it was I never used it intentionally. I just liked opening the screen. But occasionally I would hit the wrong button and open the glass. Like three or four times...
