It's amazing how Ford thought these packages out in terms of maxing out an individuals budget. Keeping Cactus Gray and Area-51 colors out of the base range was pretty sneaky. Those are my two favorite colors :)

Im in the same boat with you. The BD is really what I want but the 6-7k premium is too much. When you add the 2.7 and auto, the BD isn't a cheap vehicle (for me). Nothing like seeing dudes rolling around in chromed out bright yellow h2 or h3 Hummers. Im pretty sure those guys tarnished the Hummer brand beyond repair a decade or more ago.

Absolutely. If you're a person that will never take the top off (me), removable tops are full of negatives. Oh well, still buying one!

The hard top is the only aspect I really don't like about the new Bronco. As someone that would never remove it, I would much rather have a solid top for noise and weather sealing superiority.

I have a base ordered and really dig the 17" black steelies with 32's on the BD. It seems to be a good fit visually as well as a bit more off road capability. With base gearing, would that wheel and tire set up work?
