Lol I knew there had to be photo evidence of it somewhere, even if it wasn’t tagged with the word “puddle” to come up in my search.
Love this forum.
Yes, but I guess I wasn’t clear enough. Most of that thread discusses the side spotlight which I’m not concerned with.
Asking about what is being shined onto the ground. For example, this is what the Mach-E’s puddle lights project.
Hey all,
I did a search but couldn’t find anything concrete on this. Do we know what the puddle lamps will look like/project? I’m NOT talking about the side LED spotlights, but rather the light on the underside that shines down onto the ground.
I saw some pictures of the Mustang Mach-E’s...
I think they're subtle enough given the demands of the task they have to accomplish. Can't really put another layer of material over them.
Looks even more subtle on the modular steel bumper with all its exposed bolts.
Haven't loved CO as more photos came out, but seeing it in motion and watching the color shift really showcases the color 100x better. Imagine seeing Antimatter Blue in the sun is similar. Gorgeous shimmering glow in the sun.
I love this. As someone with an expiring Ranger lease in April and no idea what I'll do to bridge the time between then and now summer 2021 for the first Bronco delivery, I would be all over this. I'd make that swap TODAY haha
*EDIT* I know this is insanely unlikely.
Well there won't be dealer stock of Broncos for a longgggg while. Sure, the future will hold discounts. But who knows how long until that will be. Literal years, maybe.
I like heated steering wheels, but it's absolutely a luxury item. The Bronco is far from the first vehicle from ANY manufacturer to ask a higher trim level in order to receive higher perks.
If Ford let people add things a la carte, you'd have 90% ultra customized-from-the-factory base Broncos...
Forgive the dumb question (I swear I'm good at DIY, just haven't ventured into vehicle mods yet)....but won't it be challenging to feed wire from the pod light location (by the side view mirrors) up through the windshield frame and over to the toggle switches?
I haven't had an issue with it reacting to other lanes, with one exception. If I'm in the far left lane and someone moves from the right lane to the middle lane, I think the vehicle takes the precaution that they may continue moving across lanes into yours and it has slowed me down one or two...
Hi All,
I have not done aftermarket lighting on a vehicle before. My Bronco trim will have the prewired toggle switches, but how challenging will it be to wire aftermarket pod lights back to the switches?
Ordering them through B&P is $650......or buying your own pod lights will set you back...
The three big wants in the Lux tier are adaptive cruise control (which I never cared about until I used it and really liked it), heated steering wheel (see prior reason), and then the sound system. If I'm going doors off, having decent sound is important to me.
But the other stuff? Don't really...
