I put them on about a week ago. The instructions are very vague. I had to watch a video from E1 electric boards to figure it out. I did not install the lights. I installed the on/off switch on the driver's seat (the lower part that doesnt move). I also didn't install the rear door...
they both have their pros and cons. Just get the one that fits your needs.
the hard tops with roof racks do look the best, but let me ask a question and hopefully I don't attacked; if a person plans on roof racks, tents, etc, why wouldn't they just get a 4Runner?
