  1. Bought a Rubicon

A while back we cancelled our Bronco reservation. Basically I’ve decided to wait to see what the Warthog ends up being. However that left us with a Sport S Wrangler that we wanted to upgrade. Back in February we did upgrade by trading it in for a Rubicon in Sarge Green. This is basically my...
  2. šŸŽ„ 2021 Bronco Badlands Off-Road Test [Can It Wheel? By Lite Brite]

They’ve gotten totally away from that and are full time youtubers now. They even got together with others in the off road community to start E3 Offroad. Talk about livin’ the dream. Yup, I’m watching most of those channels. The TFL guys are just down the road from me. But Doug DeMuro, with...
  3. šŸŽ„ 2021 Bronco Badlands Off-Road Test [Can It Wheel? By Lite Brite]

Brittany is like that in every single video. The girl just has all the energies. Keven and Brit have been doing this since the 2018 Rubicon came out. They were focused on drift racing before but got heavy into offroading with the Jeep. They’ve found a way to make a living doing this and more...
  4. Stupid Headline - Bronco Who? [Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 article]

it’s not that big of a deal. I don’t know the numbers, but it’s a limited run.
  5. A slightly different First Edition

I think Richard Hammond said it best. This should have been called the Discovery. It’s not a Defender. Not even close.
  6. Jeep Sky-one touch soft top vs Bronco soft top

You can take it completely off, but it wasn’t intended to be removed. It’s a PITA to do so.
  7. Stupid Headline - Bronco Who? [Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 article]

I’ve got a 2021 Rubicon and love it, but there is ZERO chance I would even consider buying a 392. It’s more expensive than a RAM TRX or even a VERY WELL LOADED Raptor. That price is absolutely insane. I think Jeep looks at the aftermarket pricing for adding a Hemi to a Wrangler (usually around...
  8. Bronco pickup? Gladiator shows what will happen...

Anyone that thinks the Gladiator isn’t a very capable off roader hasn’t been paying attention. It is an excellent off roader. It’s only real weakness is that break over angle. The departure angle is a bit of a weekness but no more than any other pickup out there. You still get a truck with front...
  9. Bronco Warthog Price vs Jeep Rubicon 392 Price

It really depends on how Ford equips it. I would be surprised to see it start for over $60K since the Gen 3 Raptor is going to start for under $60K. But then, Jeep is charging ~$2500 more than the base TRX. I think a base Warthog comes with it’s own version of the Sasquatch package and base...
  10. Names that don't make any sense.

And the 1964 Mustang was named for the P51 Mustang fighter of WWII. Even the car’s dual cockpit interior design was aircraft inspired.
  11. Will Ford offer a Warthog hybrid?

Then theyā€˜ll lose their minds when the next gen Bronco comes out. I think there is a very good chance all Broncos will be EVs at that time.
  12. Percentage of users that really need Badlands? (edit correction)

I.... I think you may be my spirit animal..
  13. Sunrider top question for Jeep owners

I never really have that problem. The most challenging part to me is that wired anchor you have to thread into the support near the B-pillar.
  14. EXPECT FURTHER DELAYS - More auto semiconductor chip problems

The shortages are, in part, driving up the values on used Raptors to the point that I’m likely to sell mine in the near future. Iā€˜m looking at up to a $15K payout if I sell it private party.
  15. Will Ford offer a Warthog hybrid?

WOW! REALLY!?!?!?! Man I hope that is so. Nearly 500HP would certainly make this a beast.
  16. Let's help Ford with a better name!

End Thread... the only thing missing is the BRRRRRRRRT sound. Maybe they can figure a way to get that from the exhaust.
  17. Two weeks in a Jeep JLU.

Yea, steering on the 2018-2020 Wranglers is just horrible. There is a TSB out to replace the aluminum steering box with a more heavy duty steel one. They added that new steering box to the 2021 and it is a huge improvement. However compared to my Raptor it is still a bit sloppy. IMO it’s because...
  18. Sunrider top question for Jeep owners

I’ve had the Sunrider for Hardtop for a few years. It takes about 15 minutes to remove it. I usually put it on in the spring and take it off in the Fall because I want a little more insulation from the freedom tops in these Colorado winters.
  19. Bronco Pickup Truck design sketch discovered in Ford video?!

Y’all need to chill and think about this for a bit. I was pretty hot and heavy for the Gladiator. I would have bought one if they had gotten the diesel out sooner but they dragged on with getting it into production. Meanwhile I got a good look at the Gladiator with the 3.6l V6. To summarize...
