From the Ford site and under My Reservations, I see a reservation date of 7/13/20. When I click on View, it has "NaN/NaN/NaN" as the reservation date. When I expand the Reservation Details it has "Invalid Date" for Reservation Date. The email I got from Ford this morning (7/15) it says the...
@alroy Since you are in Royal Oak and ever wanna head up to Griffin Claw in Birmingham for a beer please let me know. I'll buy if I can pick your brain ;)
Are you looking to store the doors inside the vehicle? I guess I'd be nervous they'd bounce around too much in the back. I've taken my doors of my Wrangler plenty of times but always stored them in my garage.
Thanks! Sometimes options like those can be added a la-carte. It would be a shame that you have to spend a bunch of money to get the LUX pkg for a stereo. I'd probably go aftermarket at that point. Anyway, it would be nice to have the actual Build & Price available to have a definite answer if...
Unless I am missing it, I don't see if I can get heated seats in the Black Diamond or the upgraded B&O stereo. Ideally I'd like to see what the costs are too.
I think I was a little underwhelmed with last night. Yes, they showed a lot of great things and confirmed some things, but there are still a lot of questions. I would have thought delaying the reveal would have given them more time to nail down options and their cost. We only got high level info...
I believe @MIguy hinted it was going to be there.
I'm going with the 2 door and prefer the hard top (would like to see the soft top over front row with hard top that was mentioned in leaks). I don't know when I'd pull the donut hole out. I was thinking when you remove the top completely...
2 Door Black Diamond (thinking about Badlands though)
Will add the mid package.
Auto
If available in this trim, I'd like to add the high end stereo & heated steering wheel.
Cyber Orange
Split / folding seats (especially if they fold flat) in the 2 door will be a huge advantage over 2 door Wranglers.
I'd bet many of the requests to remove are from those with experience with the 2 door Wrangler rear seats.
I pre ordered my pineapple pizza and it should be here at 6 PM :D
Also changing the subject, I'm curious to know what people think of the top option - "First Row Soft Top Conversion for Hard Tops." My guess is something similar to the Bestop Sunrider for hardtop available for Wranglers. Best of...
My apologies. My comment was on the protest, not whether it was justified or not. https://www.cnet.com/news/facebook-ad-boycott-how-big-businesses-hit-pause-on-hate/
Speaking of ahead of its time and SUVs, reading that made me think of the Isuzu Vehicross. I have no idea what that was like as far as an SUV goes but I remember thinking they looked very futuristic when I first saw one in the late 90s.
I'm hoping the "First Row Soft Top Conversion for Hard Tops" still allows cargo to be hauled easily. My '16 JKU it does not (using the Bestop Sunrider for Hardtop). Jeep did fix this with the JLs by extended the drip rail all the way through the back. For the JKs they are only above the doors...
Interesting that a "first row soft top conversion for Hard Tops" is going to be an option. That is the setup I have on my JKU now. Bestop's Sunrider for Hardtop with my factory hard top.
I'm leaning towards a lease. If I do lease, absolutely not. If I buy one I'll probably considering one quite a bit before making a decision.
I've never owned a vehicle for more than 5 years before trading it in or selling on my own so I don't know if there would be enough value in it for me.
