  1. Granger Ford - Out of state customers

We appreciate you & crew keeping them in the air. Off topic - The Warthogs are awesome. Seen them a number of times taking strafing runs at Goldwater range on the way to Mexico. F-35s are unbelievable with their modular system of replacing parts and the on-board telemetry to tell the crews what...
  2. Power Steps

    Nice. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Power Steps

Understood - makes sense if you want to keep it under warranty :). Couldn't you just intercept the line to run hot instead from battery instead of ACC? Great point about being outside the vehicle, taking the doors off and them wanting to get in, @Hopeless Diamond. Guess maybe you would have to...
  4. Power Steps

Apologies. Did not mean to imply they are always hot. I meant the single switch assigned for this operation would need to be always hot to work for that scenario. Should be simple to reroute one of the switches to do that.
  5. Power Steps

Great ! I like that as another option. Looks like the door lock switches are going to be in the door and since door lock actuators are typically inside the door with the latch on the B pillar (front door), you would want to tap in the appropriate wire between fuse/relay and the door hinge. This...
  6. Keyless Entry Keypad

Then you probably use it for that quick entry into a convenience store and able to leave that cool A/C running like I do....a nice feature to have in AZ. The '03 Exploder has it and I will not give it up.
  7. Granger Ford - Out of state customers

Seems so cut and dry regarding Granger's business model over all the others. I've already pre-planned the trip back including a run to my birth place which I haven't seen as an adult! I do have my reservation at Chapman in Scottsdale, but heard some bad news that they will not be offering...
  8. Granger Ford - Out of state customers

See, this is the kind of transparency and honesty that gets customers from multi states away to make the pilgrimage to Iowa & Granger. I'm leaning closer every day to the same trip from AZ - just need to decide and pull that trigger prior to Oct 31. Glad I found this forum and subsequent posts.
  9. Is the WildTrak worth it over the Badlands ? ? ? ?

I determined it is a matter of priorities for me. Just asked myself what will I typically use the Bronc for and then where will I typically take it for a weekend excursion? The Bronco will run around town so I want the luxuries coupled with the ability to stay in a performance power band (insert...
  10. Our latest simulated Bronco Sasquatch in production colors & white tops / fenders

Great work on these renderings! I was full-on Rapid Red when I reserved, but after looking in my garage with a Redfire Explorer, red Ducati and red mountain bike, I wanted to have some contrast. I thought AMB (even with flake) would do it, but it is just too dark and looks black at night. Now...
  11. Granger Ford - Out of state customers

Another element to consider is the extended service plan will cover you for the term less the years and miles which has already occurred on the original "bumper to bumper". For instance, you buy a 7 year/150k ESP (now called Ford Protect) after your original 3 yr/36k has expired, the remaining...
  12. Granger Ford - Out of state customers

Looking at doing the same - Just curious, since Ford provides a 3 year/36k bumper to bumper, wouldn't it be prudent to buy the ESP once that timeline/mileage is about to roll off also realizing it will cost a little more at that time (<$300)?
  13. AZ dedicated buyers

@enro, Thanks for the update.....looks like I may switch over to Sanderson or even out-of-town with Granger or Long McArthur. I'm still going to call Erik at Chapman who originally called me after my reservation. Appreciate your reaching out to local dealers.
  14. Wildtrak Bronco Thread

I'm right there with you on the carpet, but I'll deal with it by adding mud mats. In AZ, cloth seats are a leg saver. I have great cloth seats in my NBX off-road Explorer and never regretted having them. 17 years old and still holding up in this heat/UV - easy to clean and quick drying. I'm...
  15. Roof off security

I can imagine thieves eye-balling the new $1000+ B&O car stereo in an open environment. I doubt it will have a detachable face so has anyone considered how to protect their lux package B&O stereo or are stereos too hard to remove now?......do people even steal stereos anymore....maybe a...
  16. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

Right there with you. I started with Rapid Red then I looked in my garage and saw a red Exploder, red Ducati, and red mountain bike....I need some contrast and AM Blue might just do it.....oops, we went off topic.
  17. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

Guess I was lucky enough to get the email from Ford to help assist with tightening up my spreadsheet on WildTrak costs when including the options I wanted. Glad I stuck with the Wildtrak and happy I budgeted a little higher than what the amounts were on the survey.
  18. AZ dedicated buyers

I agree with you on the distance. I'm contemplating Granger as well, but shipping charges would wipe out the savings they would offer under X-plan price. I currently have my reservation with Chapman and hope they honor the X-plan prices. I have received an e-mail and follow up phone call from...
  19. Power Steps

In lieu of a switch on the A pillar, might seem like a good use for one of the overhead Aux switches....might have to be a momentary switch though.
