Hey all, please forgive me if the above sounds like nonsense, I am from southern california and can count the number of times I've seen snow on one hand. Told my dealer when buying the car that I was planning a road trip to Washington and back, and he said to be careful and not use snow chains...
I'd say pass. Last month in los angeles I paid around 7k over sticker for my 2 door wildtrak, but it had all the bells and whistles. Lux package, hard top, tow package, etc.
28, 2 door wildtrak. Wanted something I can take camping and various outdoor things. It's just me and my partner, with no kids, so when we need the cargo room we just fold down the seats. Love the look of the 2 door more than the 4 door.
Adding another vote to California.
I won't get political and talk about the socio-economic and cultural reasons I love living here, but the off road options are bar-none. I have access to so many options. I live in Southern California, and you could literally use all GOAT modes available in the...
Also just coming back to this thread to chime in. Drove about 400 miles over this thanksgiving weekend. The ACC is an absolute game changer and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on it. I am way less mentally tired after long drives with it on.
Chiming in, also own a wildtrak. I don’t think there would be a 55-60mph limit for sports mode, that’s barely even highway speeds. If there was a hard limit, Ford would code that in. Normal defaults to whatever setting was set in either Eco (2H) or Sport (4A) mode I believe
Hey all, been a member of the Bronco club for a little over a week now. I just noticed this in the cargo area. Is this a missing piece? It so, what’s supposed to be here?
it’s in the back left of the cargo area in my 2 door bronco. Looks like there’s some kind of paste on the plastic piece...
I personally say go for it. Life is short, I say add the lux package. It's better to be thinking "I don't really need this feature" versus "I wish I had this feature". I personally enjoy things being from the factory and not add much modification to my cars, but that's just me.
Looks like I dodged the bullet temporarily, my dealer only gave me one temporary license plate so looks like I'm good until my permanent plates come in (California).
Speaking of California, looks like we can have stickers from this company that's approved by the dmv...
Agreed. People here say it's not a big deal, and not needed, but in my opinion that's the entire point of the LUX package - creature comforts. My model has the heated steering wheel and I love it. It's not the hottest thing in the world, but still better than nothing. If given the choice between...
Doing a PCH roadtrip soon, wanted to hit the dunes in Pismo Beach. Anyone have experience using their Broncos at the dunes? If ya got any advice i'm all ears.
I got a wildtrak, so I'll have access to Baja mode.
Just bought my Bronco a few days ago and financed thru Ford. 750+ credit score, I think a bit under 10% down, they wanted to start me off at 7+%, but something they don't tell you is that the interest rate *IS* negotiable. Got them down to 5.45% for a 72 month loan. Wish I would have checked my...
Yep, that’s the point LOL. Don’t want to spoil any of the beauty that will be seeing on our way down. So basically going up the 5 for two days bored out of our minds, then wonder the beauty of the 101 and PCH on our way down haha
Awesome post. My partner and I are actually planning on doing something similar in December. Driving from LA to Seattle in 2 days up the 5, then spending 2 weeks going from Seattle back to LA along the coast and going down PCH.
The demand is still crazy... I just saw this dealership have 18 broncos listed as "in transit" at the time of this post. They haven't even hit the lot and every Bronco has *at least* a $20,000 markup.
