Doesn't the Audi have a rear stabilizer bar ?
The suspension design of the Bronco is not designed around tow ratings
Find vehicles without leave springs or stabilizer bars and look at those ratings
Man the 2 dr is going to be sweet with the rear seats removed and a nice low profile tool box set in the footwell
Of course with a nice cooler mount right in the middle
Good to know on the Nitto's
If you really want to stand out they have brought back the Gateway Buckshots .......no need to balance
It's funny to read the disclaimer tho , they never said that in the 80's
Look at the Nitto ridge grappler and the Cooper discovery st
I have some older Coopers on my 250 and have the most miles and least punctures of any of the competitors I've tried
Not the best wet
The nitto's are spoke well of with my friends and are on my next tire list
Can't go wrong with...
Stiffer spring rate means the piston head in the shock will be riding higher in the bore at normal load
For the valving to work correctly you wouldn't want to be bumping the unloaded end stop valving
Just a question and yes they could have changed the valving in the piston which would answer...
You would think a stiffer spring rate and end stop valving would be at odds with each other on those shocks
Eye to eye on the coil overs would interesting to measure
It looks like on the build and price if you switch between a badlands regular side photo and a SAS side photo that the SAS has a higher hub to body clearance
If one of you that can photo shop could run a line thru the center of the hubs and show that line compared to the body
Leaving the...
Been going thru some sticker shock with the higher end models as this is a toy not a DD
Badlands 2.3 manual 2dr. No options
Base SAS 2.7 auto 2dr.
Quite the price difference and carbonized grey was on my color list
Good thing I another month to think it over
Thanks for the video walk around , very good
Looks like at 2:30 there is a view of the hoss coil over and what's not real clear but it looks like that coil is compressed oddly.
It would be good to know the length from eye to eye on these setups
I have recently been wavering away from the 4dr. as it's only 2 of us and a couple of dogs .
The seats would have to be removed to get the room for gear and kennels but man I'm starting to really like those 2drs.
Will be looking to make a second tier tray for more storage on long trips
The 2.7 is my pick because the torque comes on sooner and stays ahead of the 2.3 across the board stock.
Not interested in tunes or mods , have plenty of stuff to mess with.
Not against manual's have a muncie m21 I can go bang on ....just not necessary for Bronco in my case
That said a 2 dr...
My thought is , has there ever been a more open and dissected roll out of a new model ?
Two sides to every story but Ford did not have include anyone not employed by them until the product launch
Hopefully the end result will make a lot of frustration fade into the past
