I'm selling my DV8 roof rack. It fits 21-24, 4-door hardtop Bronco.
It's been on my Bronco for the last year or so. It will be mostly assembled when you pick it up.
I'm asking $500.00 or best offer.
I'm located in Aledo (West of Fort Worth), Texas.
Pick-up only. No shipping. Cash only.
I've had this code pop up twice now during hard acceleration. It turns on the CEL and the wrench sign. Boost goes to zero. Each time I have reset the code and pulled the battery cable for a few minutes then everything goes back to normal. Anyone else have this problem and what did you (should...
Thanks for all of the information you generated on the Bronco. Your the reason my bronco is so quick and also the reason my checkbook is empty, LOL.
Have fun with the Raptor.
I misspoke about the hot idle pressure. I was trying to recall from memory, which is not as good as it used to be. The gauge really reads 19.5psi +/- at hot idle. I think your calculations are correct. The pressure seems to be partially tied to boost pressure. It goes up as boost increases. I...
I've had my Whipple for the last 20,000 miles or so. Easy install, most aftermarket charge pipes fit. It does require the removal of the shutters. That hasn't been an issue in any way.
Not hard at all. The parts just pop loose. Start in the door jam and work your way up.
You can't drill any lower than where I drilled. The HVAC duct is in the way.
The tubes and wiring were easy to fish down to the under dash area.
I put my air box back on too. It kept tripping the IAT sensor code. Put the box back on and no more sensor issue. Iive and learn. I just wish it was easier to get the filter out to clean it.
Problem found and resolved. The intercooler discharge hose clamp had worked loose ( did I mention that I hate CVFs clamps)? Of course itās the hardest clamp to reach and I donāt know how I missed it the other night But that was it!
I was able to rip a 0-60 of 4.9 after the fix.š
Yes, I understand all of this, but when you drive 2-hours to pick up your little utility trailer (weighs about 1,500#s) and you realize you left the MPVI3 device at home (I have a 93 tune as well) you have to decide if you are going to chance it or drive 6-more hours (back and there and back). I...
I changed the oil last night. No problems noticed. Spark plugs are one-step colder than the factory. I regularly pull one and I have seen nothing to indicate an issue. BTW e85 makes the plugs look almost new. Thanks for your input.
Would it cause the Blow-off valve to reduce pressure or the waste-gates?
What I'm hearing sounds like the Blow-off valve relieving.
Thanks for your help!
Okay, I tightened every MāEffin clamp on the pressure side. No change. But driving around with the windows down I can hear a very loud pressure leak when the boost is trying to get to 4psi. Iām starting to believe the blow off valve is not working properly.
