My dealer called me last night and asked for my order, so I sent it to him. The Build and Price page still has pricing screwed up, so I sent the dealer an Excel spreadsheet with each option I want, along with their cost.
I wonder if the early allocation Broncos will still have the same "high-demand" delay or if those vehicles will be early enough in the production line that it won't matter?
The hero switches and apparently the whole dashboard are meant to be fine if it gets rained on. Pressurized water is probably not okay. I'm curious if the air vents are designed to drain water though.
The Badlands comes standard with front locking differential, stabilizer bar disconnect, nicer suspension, nicer wheels and tires, different grille, and the fancier headlights/taillights.
I'm happy to see a rubber floor in the cargo area for this washout interior. I was worried it would be carpeted like the back of the rear seats.
Also, very happy to see lumbar support on the manual seats, if only for the driver's seat.
It would exceed the GVWR, so Ford just couldn't pull off TWO sides of decals. But, as a courtesy to the owner, they get to pick which side gets the graphics!
You're following what I wish more people would understand:
Just because you have the money, it doesn't mean you can afford it.
Good luck, and I hope to see you with a Bronco in the coming years.
