I'm actually considering canceling my reservation and going a completely different route and then revisiting the Bronco in 2-3 years as a Warthog model or picking up a used one cheaper.
I have a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland that I originally planned to build out into a little more of an...
Same. I’ll definitely wait a while and build several different approaches in build and price. If the pricing ends up being better than what we saw on the survey email then I won’t bemoan the loss of X-Plan.
But to your point, it’s really just the piling on of everything little thing. Ever...
Completely a different approach if we don't go Bronco. I sold my Challenger Hellcat and my wife has always wanted a Miata. The new ND2 RF Miatas are pretty sweet, so we might go that route and I come back to the Bronco later.
I have a 2011 Grand Cherokee with some parts already in hand to...
In on this thread for the flood of responses. Let me get some popcorn!
Just right off the bat you’re leaving off the disconnecting sway bar and you’re discounting that the badlands already has almost all of the Sasquatch package that’s in the wild track, minus the wheels and tires. The...
See, your comment about the fenders still falls in line with what I mean though. The fenders and the grille and the bumpers and the top and the b-pillar and the mirrors, etc. are all different shades/colors. It's weird. I know we keep hearing they're pre-production and not get too bent out of...
I really like the look of the 33s on the 2 door. Just seems like the right porportion to me. I also don't like the wider wheels/tires on the Sasquatch. I still think I'll go 2 door badlands with 33s and then change the tires to 285/75/17s when the time comes. Makes it just a bit taller for...
So I have laid off of complaining about the MIC tops, but this setup looks especially bad to me. The grill and bumper are black. The mirrors and fender flares appear to be about the same black. The beam the mirrors are attached to is grey. The b-pillar is black, but a different shade of black...
Going Badlands because I want the rubber floors and vinyl interior and still have access to the Lux package, but also knowing I can pretty much guarantee you I will never NEED a disconnecting sway bar.
What did you get? I'm not going to lie, if I could find the unicorn that is a sarge green two door rubicon wrangler with tan leather interior, I might just bite and come back to the Bronco later.
Took another shot at any updates from Charlotte, NC dealers today on whether or not they'd match (or even attempt to get close to) Granger or Stephens. I contacted three different dealers here in Charlotte, provided links to the Granger and Stephens deals and mentioned I'd really like to stay...
Yeah, this is all going to depend on package pricing for me. I was all in on a 2-door Badlands manual, and was fine with the 33's as I'd just go bigger when those wear out. Now though, it will really just depend on my wheel and tire options and what they cost. And honestly now my wife is pushing...
I don’t think the removable glass is true on the two door which sucks. I really wanted that if for no other reason than it would make it easier to remove the top alone.
Ok. I’m going to Chime in in the other side of these arguments. I should say up front that I do not work for Ford. I do not know Mike Levine or anyone in that team. However, I do work in marketing for a very large company and a lot of what is being complained about in these forums may be...
I had a dual top 2 door wrangler. Ran the soft top for several months and then switched to the hard top and never put the soft top back on. Just ended up being more convenient loading and unloading my dogs.
I liked both for different reasons. However, taking off a Jeep hard top is NOT a one...
I think a lot of folks do get them for show, but even if you're not hardcore with them, having them for setting up camp after dark is a lifesaver. Even if you're just car camping and need to set up a tent in the dark at a park campsite, auxiliary lights are so much better than your headlights.
