I think the OP mentioned that his dealer didn't show up on his reservation because of the reveal night glitches.

Maybe the October deadline is only if you made a reservation and somehow wasn't able to pick a dealer at the time? So maybe they want a dealer listed with the reservation by the end of October but we're still able to change dealers in December? Wishful thinking.
