I saw a 4dr bd at an event with soft top. It was fully wired for a hardtop but didn't think to ask if it was spec'ed for dual top or they all were pre-wired.
My Ford account has said contact dealer for some time which I did. Dealer said that order is in and everything looks good from their end but no other info. I decided to call Ford yesterday to see what was up. The lady said that Ford has said that they would be sending build date emails out by...
When browsing the Ford accessories catalog for the Bronco, I found a wiring harness and trailer hitch. The combined priced was pretty close to the add on price for factory equip. Don't remember if 4 and or 7 pin connector but seeing this, it appears like this would be a simple add on though it...
Unfortunately, build quality could be some or all of the issue. That may be something they don't want to communicate because people may equate that to the whole vehicle. As far as soft tops, for me it's hard top or I'll wait, not soft top for me. About the wiring issue, I didn't ask when I saw a...
Come on people, join today's real world. For what ever reason, plastics are becoming very difficult to obtain. Since February '21, Deere has told their dealers to expect long wait times for plastic parts and anything electrical. Resins are hard to get and their are to many places that...
HOW ABOUT FOR PEOPLE AT HIGHER ALTITUDES. EASTERN IDAHO IS ONLY 4200' PLUS AND THE OCTANE FOR REGULAR AND OTHER GRADES IS LOWER THAN IN WESTERN IDAHO (2600'). BY THE WAY HIGHER OCTANE (REGULAR VS PREMIUM) HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FUEL QUALITY, BRAND HAS MORE BEARING ON THAT. I MAY BE INCORRECT BUT...
I work for a large Deere ag dealer and after going through the last year in good shape, they are backordering more parts in the last month than normally would happen in a year. They have told us to expect delays with electrical and plastic items. Major manufacturers source their parts worldwide...
Something to ponder. What gets priority for 2.7's? F150 or cars, Bronco's? Of course since the Broncos are new, I feel they should get priority, not that I'm biased or anything.
That's my plan also. Don't know how different the standard bl suspension is but I am going to try to mount the 285/17's on the stock bd steelies. With a slightly narrower wheel it will narrow it very slightly and also make it very slightly taller. Swag (scientific, wild a*& guess) method tells...
If Ford holds true to what they have been saying all along, your res/timestamp will determine where you are at over all based on option/item availability. A later alloc # at one dealer may come before an earlier one at another dealer.
Maybe a Torino hood scoop like my '72 Bronco had from the factory would fit. Non functional but sure looked cool. Also got lots of questions about the hood sight off a JD tractor that i put on it to cover a ding over the radiator.
My dealer told me today that their Ford rep said that of today they are at 46 %. Still a long way from 70%. This could change allocations but he said they had 6. I am #2 after the owner and they are guessing I will get mine first as his is a Wildtrak with all the bells & whistles.
I have thought the same since the idea was announced. Warthog is a great name, except not in connection with the Bronco. Bronco R or Stallion, maybe thoroughbred though that is pretty long.
By the way, the A-10 is THE MOST BADASS PLANE EVERMADE, EVEN BEATS OUT THE P-47.
My plan is bd and change tires to mt 285/70/17, same as on bl. with slightly narrower wheel will make tire very slightly narrower and taller. shouldn't change speedo much. changed my xterra from 31 to 32's with 3.36 diff. made approx. 1 percent difference on odometer. works well though not...
Had a '72 Sport Bronco, torino hood scoop, textured top. Since '92 & '94 explores and '08 & '15 xterra. wish i still had the '72. It's easier to afford the new one than a gen 1. (imo, '21s will be gen4)
I was all over the alum wheels to start with then $ really reared it's ugly head. I decided the steels looked good. Thinking about color matching the centers or the outer rims (vb). Will change to 285/70/17 mt's though asap.
