That doesn't mean its not an eventual possibility. Like I said before. If this thing sells like they are anticipating, there are a lot of other ideas on the board at ford HQ.
I know of 3 4x4....not "awd" projects in either early stages of R&D or internal concepts that are towards the top of the...
Just want to tell everybody, you have no idea how serious ford is taking the bronco. If I had to make a guess, this is going to be like the first gen Taurus or explorer. Its going to be hugely popular with many different crowds. If I'm right, it sells that good, the future for it looks even...
Bronco R factory variant maybe? Those tires dont look quite as far out as an f150 raptor, close but not quite. Not hard to skin a ranger chassis with an f150 body. Could be a number of things. I'm digging the trussed axle.
**edit** after looking at it for a bit, I'm fairly certian that is an...
Bumpers, mild lift/leveling kit, tires, wheels, window tint. After owning a vehicle with tinted front windows, you will never go back. Just so happens I have a sensitivityto light, so I can even get uv blocker full windshield tint, and be legal. Not too worried about doing anything major until...
Last year I didn't like the front end, but every time I see it, I like it more and more. This may be a better fit for me than the bronco. A FX4 package with some meatier tires and a little more leveled is all I think it really needs.
Im starting to worry a little bit if I'm being honest. I guess it will depend on how durable the front end is, as far as controlling the 35s. Really, styling I think will be awesome. Capability is where I'm starting to waiver a bit. If nothing else, the new f150 is my next runner up. I rufuse to...
I'm just gonna throw this out there. There are variables on tires. Some height measurements can be skewed by inflation, wheel width, if they measure it from wear bar to wear bar. All that said, we are talking a variable on wheelbase of maybe 2 inches. So the 112 mark may be a hair off. Lets say...
You work in engineering then? lol I used to love looking at what higher ups wanted to do, and say "that wont work" or "thats a waste of money, just do ........"
You have to remember, the packaging of the bronco allows for more interior room with a shorter wheelbase. The front tires are not nearly as far forward on the bronco.
Preface this with the fact I am content with IFS. I've said it before but I will say it again. The hardcore off road world will drive sales for average consumers. Its a simple fact. When people think of thier jeep, they think it can go anywhere. If the bronco can't bring on those same thoughts...
