There is a recall on the rear shocks you may look into. The only thing is they don't have a fix for it yet. Here is a link on the discussion.

#2 Reminds me of the time a receiving yard of one of the dealerships across from my old office got hit during the night. Took the wheels off of 4-5 suburbans. The gate is locked every night.
Apparently they didn't use the correct lug on the correct wheel on that video. Also appears they didn't torque the lug nut down. See response from Advanced Wheel Lock, which they never got a response from these guys doing the video.
I was going to say fire fighters carry portable shelters like this. They are good for a fire that burns through quick, but next to a huge fuel source that burns for a long time, they don't work well.
Sorry I misread your post. In Texas they will pull you over just to see if your transporting something illegal from down south. They will typically let you go without a ticket after seeing the out of state plate in the back, and talking to you.
There was a guy from Florida on here that was selling no drill plate holders. It hangs over the lip of the bumper and uses screws to clamp down. I'm not sure he is still selling them though, and I forgot his tag name, it started with HD.
