  1. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Hey, fantastic, big congrats to you! Hope mine isn't tooo far behind. Had the out of state dealer who sold me my Rubicon in September offer me $2000 more than I paid for it, after 5000 miles of use. That was too good to pass up, and worth seeing how I get by with doing errands, etc, in a 1987...
  2. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Mine is still at "Built" on the official tracker (which I forget to check, so thanks for the reminder), and switched yesterday from 1/13-1/19 to those "goofy February dates". Good luck to you, if you actually managed to hitch a ride from the factory! The Stephens web site is still showing the...
  3. Reaction to somber news from Ford Offer's Option Number 4

Can’t really blame Ford. They’re finally admitting they find Ford Fanboys as annoying as everyone else does.
  4. 12/5/2022 Build week with spreadsheet

I'm starting to suspect that "Logistics" is not one of Ford's strengths...
  5. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

And you know what’s funny? That actually gives me hope again. I am SUCH a sucker. Well, they say that’s how casinos hook people into gambling addictions - with intermittent reinforcement, alternating losing with glimmers of hope.
  6. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

I do find it interesting that we all get pushed to the same new dates at the same time. Lots of bizarre algorithms going on in Detroit.
  7. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Detroit is 360 miles from Charleston WV. If someone drove our rigs 10 miles a day due South, they'd be at Stephens by now.
  8. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

The Stephens website currently lists 15 Broncos as "In Stock", which I believe is Ford-speak for "built and awaiting shipment". You can click the window stickers and see they're all Special Orders. Nine 2022s and six 2023s, one of which is mine. I've been waiting since the 12/5 build week for...
  9. Shipping delays

Okay, explain the convoys. Lots of us not traveling by rail, but waiting months for a truck. And yeah, when the Jeep I ordered in the interim is ordered, scheduled, built, shipped and delivered within 8 weeks, I'm gonna throw a side eye at Ford for not having their act together on any front.
  10. 12/5/2022 Build week with spreadsheet

Did anything change elsewhere? Any shipping notification, or change to the backdoor link?
  11. 12/5/2022 Build week with spreadsheet

Waiting/delayed as well for a truck from Michigan to West Virginia. I don't believe I've read of a single convoy delivery from the 12/5 group.
  12. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

I did NOT have tow on my 12/9 build. Already bought the receiver from Ford parts over a year ago.
  13. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Just confirming - has anyone following this thread picked up from Stephens (or "gotten the call") in the past six weeks? It seems Ford is having issues finding shipping trucks.
  14. The Plan & Offer - Stephens Auto Center's Mid Atlantic Bronco Connection

Yeah, I got the same thing. To recap, since 1998, I've placed factory orders with: VW MINI (twice) Toyota (Three times - MR2, FJ Cruiser, 4Runner) BMW FIAT (Abarth, of course) Jeep (twice) So this is my ELEVENTH experience of a factory order. I remain amazed and amused at Ford's ineptitude...
  15. Can’t believe I waited for this peice of @&$!

Yeah, but this is a Bronco. He probably just took delivery last month.
