  1. Dealer Dirty Dealings

Do you have a build sheet or anything with a price on it. In New Jersey a verbal agreement is legally binding however if it were to go to legal action it’s up to you to prove the verbal agreement happened
  2. Got my “Recalled” hard top letter from Ford Canada today!

They issued the recall so they are required by law to send the customer the notice.
  3. To Keep MIC 1.0

Well it would depends on where you live. I know some states require you to have recalls completed prior to renewing your registration but I don’t know if that applies to all recalls or just safety and emissions. I believe this is a customer satisfaction recall. Also for warranty work for...
  4. 2.7L Issue

If it’s any consolation to everyone that ordered a bronco with the 2.7, I have the 2.7 in my 2015 f150 with about 62k miles and I have had no problems with it. I had to use the pandemic as reasoning but being a ford service tech and some of the stuff I’ve seen lately it is entirely possible...
  5. Soft top rear window failing!

As a ford dealership technician i can say it’s not uncommon for there to be what some would consider excessive miles. Occasional ford will randomly select vehicles after being built for an extensive quality control test of things like the suspension. Also with all the delays and that flooding...
  6. Ford Rep response to edit request

Who made the hammock? Just got an email from fedex saying I have a package coming from ten10 design but I didn’t order anything
  7. Brand new bronco overheated today [Updated 8/19]

Yea bout that….. as a Ford dealership senior master tech I can tell you there is almost no one that is going to do all that because Ford will not reimburse and sending sample to a lab is not covered under warranty. And besides the expense of test, there’s no labor time for taking samples so...
  8. "Bronco Raptor" may be production name for "Warthog" model

Fordauthority.com ran an article confirming the use of raptor today
  9. CEO Farley says Ford was able to offset almost all chip shortage impact

As a dealership technician I’m calling bullshit on that. If what he says is true then why are dealerships struggling to have inventory. We have 18 new cars on the lot and I heard this morning about a dealer that 8 new cars on the lot. And even used car inventory is getting hard to come by
  10. Ford’s new products

Crippling for service is the problem of not being able to get certain parts. I have a 2018 expedition and a 2020 f150 taking up 2 of my lifts at work with the transmissions torn down waiting for parts to overhaul. The parts just came in after being on back order for 2 months. So if I can’t get...
  11. THE my Bronco production build date has been DELAYED / MOVED BACK thread

So there was an article on ford authority.com on 5/17 that said the start of bronco production is being pushed back 2-3 weeks.
  12. Im a little disappointed, after see the Bronco in person

50k?? The one I reserved was over 60k. For that kinda money it should have like an entry level luxury feel, I’m sure the defender has that feel even though it’s a Land Rover(Tata Motors) product
  13. Dealer won't make changes

If you have a vin already assigned the dealer is correct. Once a vin is issued Ford will not allow changes to the build
  14. Was going to buy Bronco but bought F250 Tremor instead

I’m about 95% percent sure I’m going to cancel my reservation and get an f150 tremor but I want to see a bronco in person first and Ford needs to release the pricing for the damn f150 tremor.
  15. What big news are we expecting in April

There already is a 2.7 shortage. Saw a commodity list for F150 that said 2.7, and a couple other engines had no availability. It was a couple weeks ago so hopefully it’s resolved or at least just on F150
  16. 2022 Ford F-150 Convertible Introduced As Ultimate Open-Air 4X4 Vehicle 🤣

Did anyone bother to read the last paragraph of the article where it said it’s an elaborate April fools prank
  17. Spotted: Ford Maverick Pickup vs Ranger Pickup

Wow it makes the ranger look like an actual truck.
  18. Amazon page refreshed for Bronco apparel, novelties, accessories...

While we wait for that update, the owner of the dealership I work for was told pricing for the f150 tremor and raptor would be release late this month. My guess would be they are finished on fords end in the next day or 2 and release to the public on the first
  19. What's in your driveway?

    2015 F150 and the wife’s is a 2019 expedition limited
  20. Is the Bronco already obsolete ?

I think your a little off with your timeline of at least 2 decades. Jaguar is going electric only by 2025, Volvo by 2030, gm by 2035. California is going to ban new ice by 2035. The E.U. Is expected to ban gas and Diesel engines by then also.
