Based on the last weeks posts, I took a lap through my dealer on the way into the office this morning just to make sure. Nope, no Bronco. I’m surprised really. My dealer six months ago usually had a few in que to Pick up or a rejected order here and there. I didn’t even see any demo units...
Ha, Right. If you use the Ordertracking from Ford's "built" email it does not give an ETA for delivery. You must use the backdoor link with the reservation ID if you have one. That's the only place I've even been able to find the ETA.
The hitch receiver is the answer for me and also the one I was hoping for. I regularly back my boat up at night. Once the trailer gets hitched you need to ditch the extra light which will blind you by reflecting off the trailer behind you. Of course, since I went with the factory 7 pin, I'll...
When you interview undercoating companies, make sure they have a plan to get inside the frames, doors, and others areas. I'm keeping My Silverado through the first winter with the Bronco. I had Tundra frame done under warranty due to excessive corrosion and never want to do that again. Since...
I’m in the same exact date waiting game as you. I really think a bunch of us conveniently flipped to “built” on the last day of the month/quarter. I’ve calmly reached out to my dealer once per month for the last three months. It’s to make sure they know I’ve been tracing this thing and want it...
Man, I feel ya. Can’t be much help since I still don’t have my damned Bronco. I specifically recall that I wanted a Wildtrack exterior with a Badlands interior in A51. I eventually decided I didn’t want SAS since it will be a flat ass east coast vehicle. Depending on the exterior color the tan...
Stuck in the same predicament. Awaiting shipping 7 days 20 hours. Seems like mostly convoy folks getting jammed up the most.
edit: sorry, how rude of me. Congrats to all the 9/12 week crews that has put the Bronco in the stall and can breathe a sigh of relief. It gives me hope that someday soon...
Just a 9/12 build week guy checking in to the 9/19 group. I'm stuck in "awaiting shipment" so just seeing what is and is not moving. Lots of nice builds in this week. Our 9/12 group is seeing alot of convoy units stuck, so maybe still a truck shortage. Oh well, hope everyone in waiting has a...
And here I thought being shipped via convoy and not near anything with the rail strike was a blessing. Still awaiting shipping like many in the 9/12 week of convoy folks. Gonna go listen to some C.W. McCall and hope that the freedom convoy folks return to work some day soon.
Nope. Once Ford pivoted back to the allocation model rather than the build in order reservations received, this is no longer the case. Your dealer will only get a certain number of Bronco's. Having your reservation attached to it means almost nothing at this point.
Actually, without COVP, it...
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and yes this has been a long process for many of us. Not even a day-one reservation holder is at three years. so "Almost 3 years"? Um, you've been waiting 1 year and 3 months. October 21st order position would have been for MY22, not a convert from a MY21...
fluid film is not a mess. Rust and falling of metal is a mess. You can’t rinse a car in the rust or brine belts nearly enough To prevent the carnage from salt. The reaction on steel is minutes and hours not days. A 10 year old up state NY car or truck is on borrowed time without a coating. Good...
Similar to you. 744 days since reservation. In production and shipping limbo since my 9/13 Blend date. The estimated delivery is 10/2-10/8, but is still awaiting shipment. I guess I shouldn't cancel my weekend plans to pick up my long-awaited ride.
1st, I dig your handle; you are clearly a Ford die-hard.
2nd, I am not a Ford apologist, just another dude who rode through the pandemic without skipping a beat at work.
I ride in the middle of this apparent quagmire that Ford made. Dealers and customers both had expectations changed and...
I can only share the first 392 days are the worst. You'll have stopped checking B6G around about 180 days from today. Once you have to reorder for MY24 you will get reinvigorated and rinse, and repeat that process a few times.
Personally, I think the 2023 render color looks more accurate compared to the ones I've seen in the wild. The 2022 looks a bit too close to desert sand everglades. For a zero cycle refresh year, wonder why they even played with the B&P anyway.
A bunch of us suspiciously moved from "In production" purgatory to "built" on the last two days of September, which are both the end of the month and quarter. I wonder if someone's bonus was on the line from a total production standpoint, and we are still on the same chip hold?
Ford is...
