Like I was saying. I'm not not much on engineering or a mechanic. But you dont think with a couple of modern day tweaks like high compression, different cam, fuel injection, or direct injection, hotter spark etc... Something like this in a small v-8 wouldn't be able to deliver ??

I think they want to provide more options to capture more of the aftermarket options straight from the factory. Slowly expanding the list as things progress. I think I'll sell the Bronco I have now and go bigger on my 22 that I've been waiting for.

Because they want a lift, better suspension and 37 in tires. I got the SAS with my Badlands.

I'm not much of an engineer but I did have a couple of early Fords that had 289 cu in V-8. Im sure with todays engineering something like that could be designed to get max performance with better mileage that would fit in the engine compartment. I dont think it would need to be turbo charged but...
