If dealers had a say this late in the planning stage (D-1W) our Broncos will never be built. Imagine taking input from hundreds of Ford dealers to decide when each individual ordered Broncos will be built. Typically, the plans are based on supply available and maximizing production efficiency.
I don't think the dealer would play a part in scheduling at this point.
I just got off Ford chat and they have confirmed I've been pushed to 4/28 build date (from 4/25).
I feel the same way, and would be more so if the dealer I have the order with does not honor MSRP pricing we agreed to. But I think it's pretty much a guarantee that most of us will go back to the same dealer when all this ADM business is over with and they have the best deal within 100 mile...
Dealer sent me a picture of printout that showed my order #, VIN, and build week. Checked the order tracker using the provided info and it shows order confirmation. Based on that pizza tracker, it won't show update until it is in production. Seems like a lot of people are getting more info...
Essentially it means the last 2022 models will be built on 11/10. Also means beginning of MY2023 will be 11/10 later in the day after break in production to make required changes or the day after.
I haven't had any issues with the 2.3 Bronco. I'm coming from driving a Mk 7 GTI for the past 5 years and hate it when i have trouble passing vehicles on the road. But I haven't had that issue with the 2.3 Bronco at all. I feel like the only thing that's holding it back is the wind...
This thread is so refreshing after reading all the negative threads ranging from quality issues, production delays, and dealer ADM, etc. Good to know there are still honorable dealers out there. Hope I will be updating this thread with a dealer of my own in a couple months when my Bronco is...
Does anyone have a picture of 4dr Iconic Silver, non-Sas, MIC, with the new power-coated steel bumpers? I've seen similar around the forums, but they're either missing a hard top or the power-coated bumpers.
How do you see your current build week? Only reason I know I'm 4/25 is because that is what is said in the email. But I don't see anything on the tracker regarding build week.
3/08 Dealer emailed me saying I was scheduled for 4/25 week.
3/15 VIN# received from the dealer (delay due to mgr. being on vacation)
3/25 Received email from Ford confirming my build week of 4/25.
I almost made the same mistake when taking off the top this past weekend. Luckily I stopped as soon as I heard something resembling a snap. Pretty sure I snapped off part of the clip on the very top on the passenger side. The BNation does not show how to "unhook" the D pillars prior to sliding...
Just received an email from the dealer that my 4dr BD has been scheduled for 4/25. Expect to get pushed just like many of the people in multiple build groups but.... nevertheless, exciting to get some sort of update.
