It’s not just you; I’ve pondered the same thing. Even wondered if someone would come out with replacement rear window panels that fit a bit better. The big unknown is do the rear windows have to be like that for rear tilt up feature to work, or is it just ill fitment. Time will tell.

I’m coming from Charlotte, NC and chose SAC for the same reason. The doc prep fees I was quoted from the local Ford dealer I believe was $795. And they wouldn’t even commit to MSRP.

That headliner in the base was shedding like crazy. I guess that’s normal for what it is.

I have a feeling the lack of vents in the rear is going to be way more bothersome than Ford’s choice of plastics, for me. I can hear my two kids complaining about it being too hot/cold in the back seat, already. They will be almost as loud as members of this forum going on about cheap plastic...

This is the first time I’ve seen anyone mention this, and I think it’s brilliant. If it matters to the customer enough, make it available for a few hundred bucks. BTW, my understanding is Wrangles are the same way, and there are after market solutions.

Within the last week I down tiered from Big Bend to Base. I did it because I realized don’t actually want most of the things Big Bend added. I didn’t like the gray grill or wheels on the BB when I saw it in person, I am not adding Mid or tow package, I planned on removing the middle grab handle...

Same boat. Taking the doors off might actually be easier (especially since they are frameless). Removable top/panels are cool, but it gets hot in the sun!
