Looks like the adapter will raise the factory shifter height by about 1"... I'm out on that. Gonna order a hurst 6" lay back today and build a custom setup eliminating the factory lockout. I'll post pics.

Lol,you will never get turbo whistle from that tiny turbo You must be new to turbos and modified setups, lol, whistling dixie it sounds like. A small turbo means absolutely nothing in terms of whistle. Here is my borgwarner factory ko3 in the st whistling louder then the 60 trim on my mk4 supra.

Is this the 2.3? I just put mine on tonight, 2.3, sounds great except at idle I have a odd sound. I believe something needs tightened or re aligned. Once I get it right I'll weld it on.. to me this adds to the rugged old school look of the truck. Gotta cackle old school scout ii sound.

Here's a 2.3 with the full atmospheric bov adapter. Pretty quiet unless you really lay into the throttle. I dig it! If your like me and enjoy turbo sounds I'd recommend the bov adapter. Hopefully ill get some turbo whistle once I get this flow master installed. Thanks Geoffrey

Just ordered my full atmospheric bov haha that and the outlaw exhaust it's gonna make some turbo noise! If this is the same quality as the one i had on my ST ill be more than happy. Can't wait.
