Looking forward to seeing all the rowdy Broncos at SEMA.
  2. More shenanigans: $80k base sas

    What a fantastic opportunity.
  3. Dealer sold another customers bronco

Kind of odd that they would advertise their failures to you.
  4. Looks like Jeep is going Sas hunting even harder

Many don't think the Blazer is garbage, they just feel it should not wear the Blazer badge.
  5. Dealer says they are getting Bronco Raptor allocations, 30K over MSRP

I'd rather take the $30k and buy a RZR if I want to go fast off road. Like, you could get a real nice Pro XP.
  6. True Brushguards

About a week ago, I was doing a 400km drive. A car burnt down on the side of the highway causing real bad traffic, so it took me over 6 hours. I was literally 800m from turning onto my road, when I saw a small deer leaning into the road from the shoulder. Fortunately, it decided not to enter...
  7. Best lift kits for the Bronco?

I think it's likely the "best lift kit" is still in development. If you want the best, and are willing to invest decent money, I'd hold off for a bit before making your decsion.
  8. First Tow (of RZR) with the Bronco - Loving the 2.7!

Welcome to the internet. People LOVE to criticize other people's towing setups. That said, some people are very clueless when it comes to towing, and do need some advice. (I'm not suggesting that you fall into this category.) BTW, everything I see in your picture looks awesome. Seems like a...
  9. First Tow (of RZR) with the Bronco - Loving the 2.7!

It's been a couple months since I was trailer shopping, but I guess they are available lighter than I remembered. Though 750 does still strike me as suspiciously light, the first comparable I pulled up is listed at 900 lb, not too far off. https://www.carry-ontrailer.com/utility-trailers/6x14gw/
  10. First Tow (of RZR) with the Bronco - Loving the 2.7!

3.42 in my Sierra. I'm in Eastern Ontario, Canada, at only 410ft of elevation, so we have good air density for NA engines. Being at 5-9k ft vs 400 ft explains the big differences in our experiences with the 5.3L I think.
  11. First Tow (of RZR) with the Bronco - Loving the 2.7!

A RZR 4 and a 14-16ft trailer, and a few accessories often gets you to 3,200-3,300 lb. However, there are trailers under 1k lb with 2k payload capacities that can get the job done, and keep the weight to a minimum.
  12. First Tow (of RZR) with the Bronco - Loving the 2.7!

Interesting. Is that at a moderately high elevation? I have a Sierra 5.3L, and though I assume it to be a fair bit lighter than the Suburban, it tows my RZR 4S like a boss. It was actually my wife's idea to get our RZR. I like it, but she really likes it.
  13. New article with a spin on the hardtop I hadn't heard

Far too many comments and news stories have been making me think about that movie lately.
  14. New Models/Upgrades Coming for 2022/2023 says Levine

There is so much built up demand for the current offerings. It’s almost rude to introduce anything new when production is so far out, and you can’t actually buy what they unveil. They seem to have a heritage model and a Raptor variant in the works. I’d hold them until late 2022 as 2023 models.
  15. nearly 20k mark up ON BASE at local dealer (link included)

At that point, they may as well just list it for double the MSRP.
  16. The Gentleman's Offroader for Those Who Drink it Shaken Not Stirred

A new engine choice for 300 units only?
  17. Rapid Red/Antimatter Blue Complaint Line

Not a fan of Hot Pepper Red?
  18. DIY Sleep Platform In Use on 4-Door Bronco

Nice to see the Outter Banks taking you to some nice places. A little bit of wood and carpet can easily solve many problems in vehicles. My pickup truck is a base trim level "double cab." It does not have a split folding rear seat like the higher end trims have. Due to the cab...
