I will be watching this thread as I am about to do the exact same thing. The only rattle I currently have with the stock B&O config is my IAG lifts for the soft top in the rear. I read somewhere that covering the tube with heavy shrink tubing will stop that (haven't tried it yet but will soon)
Installed mine a few weeks back and love it with only one exception. At times a song or songs may come and the volume on the B&O system may hit ear drum splitting levels :-) At those levels the inner tube do rattle quite loudly. I have already reached out and IAG is looking into it now so I am...
Thanks for the firsthand info. I assume that he had a soft-top originally so will ask the big question, is it quieter than the OEM top?
My issue with the Ford soft-top is that noise at highway speed and on windy days regardless of speed. I have owned a few convertible cars and none were silent...
I did a quick search on the forum and didnt see anything on this posted so I figured I would ask.
What are your thoughts on this?
Any Jeep owners out there have the Jeep version installed? Thoughts...
I hope this is the correct place to ask questions. I love everything I have ordered and installed so far. Although I haven't installed everything because it's MN and still too cold here :)
My questions are in regards to:
1) I have the Ford OEM floor mats and would like to cover the Bronco logo...
It is so, so. I have driven worse and I have driven better. At highway speeds I don't really notice it and my wife (whose thoughts were my biggest concern) doesn't really complain or notice. I plan to add a bit more sound deadening above the muffler because I think the fact that it is closer to...
A few of the guys at the Ford dealer where I purchased it from have used the Whipple tune and love it. I may go in a talk to them. The issue I have with that is that it is so detectable if something were to go wrong. The JB4 may be a better solution for me. I am not looking for huge gains just...
I like the also blow-off his!!! Im thinking about getting this from Lethal Performance (https://www.lethalperformance.com/turbosmart-bov-kompact-dual-port-vr13-2021-bronco-2-3l-2-7l-bronco-sport-2-0l-0223-1082.html) for my Wildtrak.
As for exhaust I went with the MagnaFlow Street Series...
I have a 2022 WT with 2200 +/- miles on it and my MPH is a whopping 13.6 but, when I switch to Eco from Sport the increase is huge 13.7Mpg (Eco LMAO!!!). I live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul south metro area and most of my driving is stop light to stop light (in the shortest time possible of...
Ok I know its not apples to apples but both are EcoBoost 6cyl and both are for the most part some form of all wheel drive. Most importantly both have Sport Mode so that I can drive them "normally" :)
When I first bought my SHO I noticed a throttle lag when the light would turn green and my foot...
I attached the installation instructions for the Ford light bar which do not involve drilling a hole in your Bronco. This is how I installed my non-Ford lightbar.
I added the Roush cold-air Intake kit and the MagnaFlow Axle-Back Street Series Black stainless Exhaust System. Now it sucks more air and has a much better sound along with two outlets. This weekend I finish the wiring for the towing harness and chase lights.
