There was an AGM lightning sitting in a parking lot in downtown Ann Arbor yesterday. Very different from the Raptor photos that are out there. More of a bluish silver in bright light. Kind of like how HPR goes from a copper color in low light to a bright orange, but with blue and silver...
Sucks to hear about your issues but 3 is hardly a neverending list. ~2 warranty repairs per year is about the industry average for a new model year vehicle. I don't know about your states lemon laws, but they would have to be absurdly liberal if you were even close to qualifying.
The "extra" sound deadening is all in the engine compartment. Doesn't do much for wind and road noise. Either way the headliner is mediocre at best, mine has a few loose spots too, but I'm just going to get an aftermarket one eventually so I haven't bothered with getting it warrantied.
I got the Rekgen's. Reasonably priced, easy install, and they don't look ridiculous. They are shorter (you can get longer ones if you don't mind the look), so don't offer as much protection as a gatorback, but haven't had any rock chips on my doors or rockers yet, and they are a touch higher...
Then she definitely is a 4 door if that is indeed your vin. Your dealer screwed up somewhere, and it can't be changed once a vin has been pulled for it.
You should have lots and lots of emails from ford with your reservation number (unless you are deleting them all), and for mine the order and reservation number were the same.
I'm averaging 20.1 on my BB Sas, 2.7 (mechanically identical to the WT). If you don't go nuts with the throttle on the 2.7 and stay out of boost they can get better than EPA estimates, and that was true with my 2.7 F-150 as well.
The test drove a MGV Badlands mannequin, and a Wildtrack on the same stretch of road on the same day. The Badlands was about 3db (phone app) louder up until 55-60 when the wind noise took over. MGV was still not bad though, totally doable. The carpet interior was about on par with an...
We had it in Death Valley @ 121 degrees and it was just fine even in the back seats. If you point the vents straight the back seats get more air than my F-150 did from it's rear Vents. The blower is ridiculously powerful, by far the strongest I've had in any vehicle. The downside of that is...
That was the original idea, but it turns out very few people who know how to drive stick know how to drive stick off road. The manuals they did have in Austin were all constantly out of service for clutch replacements and Ford decided to pull the plug on manuals at the off rodeos.
I've done that before but it didn't work on the Bronco. My dealer flat out told me Ford wouldn't match the offer I had from my CU on a high demand vehicle. My dealer did find me another CU that had an even better rate, 2.34 for 72 months.
My 2022 Sas. W/mid is much quieter than my wife's Model 3 and is about as quiet as my 2019 F-150 up to about 60MPH, beyond that there is some wind noise but it's very faint.
There are 3 Snyc 4 based head units for Bronco, the 8" base, 8"advanced, and 12"advanced. The later 2 use NXP's i.MX 8 series processors that allow a fully networked vehicle, connected services, and more advanced voice recognition. The base unit is only partially networked, and not with the...
I've been driving in mostly Eco for the last two weeks and I'm averaging 20.2 (Sas 4dr, 2.7). My average prior to that was 17.2. It makes the throttle less sensitive so you can stay out of boost. Obviously if you just compensate by adding more throttle it will do nothing for you.
The 2.0 never seemed like a significant improvement to me. Mine has some issues as well, but I'm going to hold off on the warranty claim until they can actually figure this thing out. Really (and this will never happen) I wish Ford would just offer an upgrade program when the Mod top comes...
The leather seats are mostly vinyl anyways, it's just a leather pattern vs the weird cross hatch pattern on the MGV. The rubber floors are loud AF. If you got a soft top it's kind of irrelevant, but on the hardtop the road noise is way more pronounced.
I like the wheels, I like the Fenders, I love the interior. However the 2.3 is not for me. It's a perfectly fine motor, but a special trim with a base motor isn't that special to me. The snorkel looks silly and I would never need it. The everglades graphics are a bit much. I'm nowhere near...
I never understood why people thought you could just hose the whole interior down, electronics and all. My feeling has always been that if Ford had invested the substantial sum of money required to do that they would be marketing the hell out of it as such with promotional materials/videos...
