I personally wouldn't worry too much about the death wobble on the new Jeeps, the components and parts used today are superior that of the past.
I have owned three first generation Broncos and all three of them had the death wobble issues at some point in time as a result of worn out front end...
The 2.3 l 4-cylinder offered in the sixth Gen puts out more horsepower and torque than any of the v8s that ever came in the previous Broncos. An interesting perspective.
I also took a trip down to the local Ford dealership and spotted an F-150 in AMB and realized this is one of the few colors that actually looks better on the website than it does in person .Not for me so I scratched that one off my list . Now I'm just waiting to see VB before I place the order...
I have owned 4 Broncos in the past and been driving an FJ Cruiser for over 10 years now. I like the FJ but it's kind of gotten boring over the years . But probably the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. 160k and one alternator failure, that's it.I test drove a Wrangler two weeks before...
I was hoping same thing about the 2.7 . But one perspective is this engine puts out more horsepower than any previous Bronco 1-5 gens. I think that's an accurate statement.
I am trying to determine just how necessary sound deadening is needed on the top.
I'm still waiting for all the Wrangler owners to chime in on this and tell us this is just a waste of time and money. The first generation Broncos certainly could have used it since it had a metal roof. During a...
- "Some quality ceramic tint will be necessary. Supposedly there’s clear UV tints for windshields now too."
Yes there are some high quality ceramic films but one that stands out is 3m Crystalline. Available in very light VLT (visible light transmission) 70% &90% with high heat rejection. From...
To keep things in perspective that video shows a 700-800 hp v8 in stock form overtaking a v6 300hp in stock form . So it really doesn't matter how much money Ford puts into the suspension that's hard to beat that kind of horsepower.
So for those of us that are ordering the Bronco with the v6...
I have owned 3 first gen Broncos and they do indeed look good and very unique. But I would expect the 2021 to outperform it in every category. With the exception of the last couple years the first generation, they had four wheel drum brakes, a horrible three speed on the tree manual transmission...
I am not sure about that because Ford has a history of making stupid decisions. The first gen Bronco was aimed at the (then) Jeep CJ. But Ford being Ford made the decision to make the Bronco essentially an F150 (1978) because they were lagging in sales to the Blazer which was always a full size...
When the Bronco 2 came out I owned a 69 Bronco half cab at the time. One look at that I'm like no thanks!
I don't understand why but Ford doesn't seem to value the name Bronco. Look if they want to make a Bronco sport that's great but they should have giving it a completely different name and...
I came across this Car and Driver (from their archives) of the 78 Bronco. I have owned 3 first gen Broncos and a 78 so I found this article intriguing because I believe this was Ford's first major mistake in the decision with the Bronco . Anyway an interesting read but I like esspecially the...
