  1. AIGMUX | Bronco Trunk Light: Brighten Your Adventure

I can use them with confidence that they will interfere with my radios. It is standard practice to use RFI filters when designing pulsed LED drivers; it’s a law to do so in Europe. Let me know when you comply. I would like to improve lighting in my Bronco, the rest of your design is appealing.
  2. AIGMUX | Bronco Trunk Light: Brighten Your Adventure

Have you incorporated radio interference filtering in these trunk lights? My AIG ditch lights completely wipe out all AM radio stations and weaker FM stations. LED controllers circuits are notorious for this if not properly filtered.
  3. Need help identifying a part

Get a pair of gas struts and lose the prop bar. Better yet-keep the bar in case (when) the gas strut fails. Life is easier if you don’t have to hold up the top with one hand and wrestle the support bar with the other. Same goes for the hood.
  4. Tips for an OffRoadeo first-timer in Vegas

Don’t know about the other sites but the staff at LV were beyond wonderful. Ford has hit a home run in their recruiting process. It was enriching at every level.
  5. EPIC Roadie Removable Arm Rest for Bronco!

Would rather have a rest for my right wing.
  6. Real world gas mileage

@Desmolicious. Thanks for that. I live deep in Kalifornia. At this point I’m 13 days into the countdown………..
  7. Real world gas mileage

@Desmilicious: Yeah, it comes and goes. Dealer reset things and gave a lame excuse for what went wrong. Had NO excuse for other problems that came back unfixed. Check engine light came back a few days later. I think it’s correlated to the lousy mileage. Service Manager smirks a lot with her...
  8. Real world gas mileage

BL SAS: I’m getting 10-11mpg around town. Sometimes down in the 7mph zone. This is in light traffic too. But also have a chronic P0430 check engine light which the dealer can’t seem to fix, the dealer hasn’t been able to fix a half dozen other problems either-so no surprise. Have seen 20+ on the...
  9. Loose nuts near the roll bar

It’s a real Bronco. Look the fine print at the bottom of the post for details. But I would expect similar quality issues with the baby Broncos.
  10. Loose nuts near the roll bar

Had a squeak in the same area in MY23 Bronco. Could be the same nut locations on all 3 vehicles. Perhaps it’s another Bronco ā€˜Easter Egg’ out there for everyone to find. šŸ™ƒThere were small witness marks on the roll bar paint for both (look closely at pic). Maybe finger tightened originally and...
  11. Loose nuts near the roll bar

The RR door is open and out of view. The pic is looking through the upper door jamb/roll bar. The chocolate mousse-colored piece is the roll bar. My hard top is out of view above the pic. The black rubber bit is the door gasket. The dangling airbag surround assembly is bending the door gasket...
  12. Loose nuts near the roll bar

While routing wiring for a rear ā€œdash camā€ I had to remove some roll bar covers. While in the passenger side rear door area I found 2 nuts ready to fall off their respective bolts! The bolts seemed unnecessarily long? They were about 6mm. I spun/torqued the nuts up tight and replaced the...
  13. HD Radio missing in your Bronco? Here's a Workaround

I went back and reread the previous AI instructions for enabling HD mode. The AI bot completely missed the need to preselect a specific radio mode (AM, FM, or Sirius) before its options will appear on the settings screen. If the radio is turned off there is not even a RADIO button on the...
  14. HD Radio missing in your Bronco? Here's a Workaround

Yes, I eventually discovered (stumbled on) the fact that-unlike most other option settings-the radio has to be turned on and set to FM mode before any HD FM setting options appear on the settings screen. Same for AM HD and Sirius. There is no place where settings for these 3 options appear at...
  15. Solar Trickle Charger

See my previous comment about console cigarette lighter disconnection after power down.
  16. Solar Trickle Charger

The cigarette lighter disconnects from the vehicle battery a while after engine shut down. You have to find a (fused) path directly to your battery. I use a rubber? fuse holder connected from battery to Anderson PowerPoles. Be sure to connect ground beyond the battery current sensor (i.e...
  17. šŸŽ„ Christmas Giveaway: What's Your Beloved Bronco's Name? šŸŽ

My Bronco is named Onager (look it up). It’s 6 months old and gets lots of hours in the Mojave Desert. Its next add will be a winch if I can find a way to preserve ACC. It replaced a Rubicon. It went to the local dealer 6 days ago for 2 days of work on 10 recall/warranty items. So the Rubicon...
  18. ‘25 Badsquatch-Trail Status Screen loses Tire Pressure display

I do air down for off-road. That’s how I discovered the tire pressure readings on the trail status display. I was already aired down when turning on the display-so had erroneously assumed that it had been there all along and I hadn’t noticed. More details: the low pressure warning comes on at a...
  19. ‘25 Badsquatch-Trail Status Screen loses Tire Pressure display

After more off-roading I discovered that tire pressure readings only appear on off-road status screen after airing-down below the warning pressure threshold, around (maybe) 35psi, could be lower? Also discovered that only rear lockers are available when in 4L drive!! Still better than my...
