Looking for a set of nice, unscratched OBX fender flares painted in Carbonized Grey.
I am located in Montreal Canada but my parents live in Lawrenceville Georgia .
You can buy 16 inch wheels made for Tacoma and 4runners. The bolt pattern is the same but the hub center bore is larger on Toyotas.
You just need a hubcentric ring 93mm to 106mm.
My bronco is currently runnring on toyota 18in steelies btw.
Check this guy out he put 16s and 35in tires on his...
I bought some take off 18x8 steel wheels with 25 offset from a 4Runner owner who decided to buy alloys instead.
These 18x8 wheels are .5 inch narrower than my SAS wheels but the offset is about 10mm more outward so it worked out ok
I wanted true snow tires that weren’t LT rated for a...
Yes the factory SAS wheel is 8.5.
315mm/12.5in tire on an 8 inch wheel will be just fine and give it a more "offroady look" .
315mm/12.5in tire on 9.5 or 10in Wide wheels IMO will give it more a "street" look.
With the same offset, a wider wheel with the same tires doesnt affect the poke...
(unlike cars) When the tires are this big, any imperfection at the hub is felt in an accentuated manner at the edge of the tire. Make sure to buy quality spacers and youll be fine.
Update: I leased the car in March and could not prepay the lease as advised here.
I instead put my money in a money market fund that yields just a little bit less than what the rate I have so it evens out.
Also: Back in March was able to lower my lease interest rate to 5.49%(instead of the...
Thank you all for chiming in. I now understand why the stock photos for Pro Comp 69 vary so much.
The super wide lips I see online are of a 15X10 with a crazy -44 offset which is meant for older vehicules with narrow axles while modern off roaders usualy have wider axles and positive offsets...
More research: a pro comp in a 16x10 with a -24 offset according to this post would give me the desired look(for the wheel that is) but the package would stick out a fair bit even on my SAS. It would be like running a 2in spacer on my OEM SAS wheels.
Does anyone know what the deal
Is with Pro Comp 69 and the two different styles they come in?
Some of the 69s look more “classic” with smaller holes and the face is sunken in while others look more “flush” with bigger holes.
Do you get the classic look only when the wheel is wider or when you...
Personnally I am going to have a dedicated 18in snow/winter tire set.
Going for non-LT true snow tires. They dont comes in 275/70/18, have to settle for 275/65/18 or 265/70/18.
I plan to buy Blizzak or Xice CUV/SUV tires that are much lighter than LT tires and are 4 ply vs 8 or 10 ply for LT...
Hello All!
I scored a set of OBX wheels for a song that I plan to run winter tires on for my SAS base model.
I am curious to see what they will look like with spacers on the Bronco (SAS or not).
If I install them as is, I may have to swith the flares to the non SAS flares otherwise I suspect...
