I just watched Tim with Long McArthur Fords podcast and found it interesting that this week's scheduling is thru March even though they have scheduled the first 2 weeks of April already.
I have been scheduled for a whole 5 days and they moved my build date a week. Thats okay, I was a 3/27 outlier anyway, most were scheduled for 4/3. I will take having a scheduled day moved versus not being scheduled at all.
So many of the these are April 3, mine is March 27
When we decided to completely turn our order upside down and covert from a fully loaded OB with all the constraints I really did not want to go to a Big Bend. But after doing every build and price I could, even realizing the value wasn't the...
Well I'll be dipped. What a last week and a half its been.
Last week, Bronco 6g posts a story about removing constraints to get built, I get mad.
Wednesday last week I call my dealer and we modify my order but I won't drop Hardtop.
Saturday we go look at his 2 door manual, completely different...
Wow, that basically means they have so many orders that they have no allocation percentage at all for the 3 sins, unlike Long McArthur who does have allocations. So what they are saying is, when the order banks open end of March, if you place an order with T&C you can't order a HT, SAS or Lux...
If you have not officially canceled, go talk to your dealer, if they are like mine, they will have allocations for these constraints. Also, because you are badlands, drop the SAS, do a 2 inch lift, and your SAS essentially. Good luck.
I am going to preach this to anyone who will listen. Before you remove what you really want, go and sit down with your dealer, they recieved their ramaining allocations and what they can order yesterday. If they have allocations and they can order any of the three major constraints, they can...
Check your dealers allocations. If, after all current orders are fulfilled, and the they have allocations remaining for Hardtop, you can order a hardtop, but you better have your order ready, and your dealer be on the trigger to order, its going to go quick.
Dealers are going to be able to...
Check with your dealer, see where you are in the que and have them check their 2023 allocations for the constrained items. At least then you can make an informed decision. Deciding to keep these items does not have to be roll of the dice, they know what they can get.
I think so. So basically, wouldn't one of his existing unscheduled order holders be able to tap into his remaining allocations for the constrained items. All that would do is eliminate someone from getting that constraint on a new order.
I just watched Tim with Long McArthur Ford's pod cast for scheduling information and Bronco news and I couldn't believe what I heard. This really doesn't apply to me anymore because I completely changed my order because our needs changed, but to those who haven't dropped the dreaded 3...
My dealer told me today that my order was previewing, which is further than I have ever been before. On Monday, I changed my order to a 2 door, manual, Big Bend from the fully loaded 4 door, OB, SAS, HT, Lux that I have had on order for over a year and a half. Ford wanted me to remove...
I just don't want people leaving their Price Protection offer on the table when it is available to them, even if they modify their order from its original configuration. This was a major change in price protection from 2022 to 2023, you can change your order and still get PP because its tied to...
I am the last remaining reservation holder at my dealer and top of the list. I hope this works out, but it looks like my move to the 2 door may hurt me with its percentage. We will see.
Is there anyone with knowledge of current constraints that can tell me if the Manual Transmission is currently an issue. I completely changed my order to BB, 2 door, Manual today in an effort to make lower cost buildable order.
This is not correct. My dealer went thru the process on a different Bronco than what I have on order, completely different trim and everything and my PP certificate was generated for that Bronco, the PP certificate is tied to your name, not the order.
My ho
My hope is Ford sees Big Bend a says yes. It seems that's what they want to build.
I have been kind of cold on the Bronco as time has drug on, but the idea of getting a classic styled 2 door in a manual kind of puts a smile on my face. Hopefully its a buildable order now and my waiting...
