They didn’t want to do the replacement without extra glass available. They didn’t wind up needing it but it was better than possibly leaving it with the windshield off for a few days while they got a replacement.
Alright, so my windshield got done. It was delivered Tuesday to the dealer, got the stop sell later that day. Wednesday they sourced glass, got a glass guy in and installed by noon Friday. If they can get glass then it doesn’t take too long.
Picked it up yesterday! Immediately drove it 200 miles to our lake property. And then back home because we forgot essentials, then back. 600 miles in 24 hours!
Mine got delivered literal hours before this came out. I cannot pick it up until it is done, but they put me at the front of the line. It was delivered Tuesday, and was at the body shop yesterday by noon. Barring any issues with the glass cracking I should still be able to pick up tomorrow...
There will be a very thorough inspection before I leave with it for sure. I haven't received a call yet, which for them means they are still working on it and is maybe, hopefully, good news
Mine got delivered yesterday, dealer called this morning and told me about the recall. I can't pick it up until it's done.
They have a windshield guy on site right now and are shooting to get it done by Friday morning so I can pick it up before I head out of town. Windshield guy said that he...
Just got the call from my dealer, it has been delivered. Getting washed and inspected now. Picking up 9AM Friday morning after they install a couple accessories for me!
Check with your dealer if there is a hold on it.
Mine was blended 1/18 and not built till 6/07. If it has a chip hold your dealer should be able to tell.
You can call, but I had trouble with it. there is a rail tracking thread with a member who seems to have some pretty good access to info. My dealer has also been keeping up with it.
Nope, was hearing 5%+ out of Ford Credit. Went with USAA at 3.09% with autopay discount. Worst time to try to get a loan now honestly. We got my wife's 4Runner in 2020 at 1.9
Mine should be at the local train yard today or tomorrow, got my loan preapproved Saturday morning. Fingers crossed it should be just a couple of days more
Another point, we financed my wife’s 4Runner in late 2020 for a similar price at 1.9%, so with better credit and a significant jump in income getting 3.09% is a sting, but better than I have seen from other sources. I could maybe put some legwork into getting a better rate, but I’m not too...
We all have Broncos down here...
