Not at all the BSM light is part of the mirror glass, none of that is altered at all during installation. The factory BSM feature will still work with these lights (y)

The cables are made of a polymer which does not degrade from salt exposure like metal does so we dont see any reason you would have any issues there.

What you see in the video is after driving 1,800 miles to Las Vegas through rain, construction, bad weather, etc. Just pressure washed it and thats it, no extra care was taken to clean it any differently than you normally would.

Correct, these dont pull enough power to require a relay so its pretty easy to add a switch if you need to. If you plan on adding more lights or accessories there are aftermarket AUX switch setups that may be a good option.
