Not really familiar with that particular rack but, like Tex said, in order to more easily route the cable that cover needs to be accessed to run your wire. Not sure if you could unbolt the mount and get enough space without completely removing it.

The little clips are Fords design and yes they can be a bit tedious but, like you said, take your time work around it it should all go together.

Easiest way to do this is by adding a set of our Dual Intensity Circuits (Part# 2017-504) so that these can function both at a "DRL" and a Turn Indicator. The Dual Element Circuit allows the strip to be used as a running light at full power then when the turn signal is activated the strip...
