I agree that it's a bit odd of placement, but I guess because the designers didn't want the cross bar in center of the vehicle like a Wrangler there was nothing else they could do. I don't think the Soundbar aftermarket offering by JBL will be such a wise choice...just my preference...due to it...

Yes, it's similar to a gain control. The 6.5"'s will be in the kick panels and I'm planning on fabricating some pods to hold the 3" mid-bass drivers and the 1" tweeters. The Focal's have a 3-way crossover which allows me to power the front and rear channels with a 5 channel amp. Overall costs...

Palsapp.com shows my VIN as pending....Wayne, MI shipping location...I'm in PA. I checked the Module updates website yesterday and I saw some updates. I just checked right now and my VIN no longer works to query updates.

Called my dealer today to check on my 2 door, Black Diamond, Cyber Orange, Mid order. Ford tracker has said it has been in production since 7/23. w no build date, no estimated delivery, etc. Dealer looked in his system and it shows as built w delivery date of 8/2. Good news, obviously.

If you go with a 5 channel amp and a sub it should be plenty of low-end. I had a 5 channel in a Wrangler w 10" and it was amazing sounding w no doors or roof. It was 75wx4 and 300wx1 (sub)

Not trying to complain, it's just a little crazy that they are unable to send people with orders an email saying the dates have changed. The person on the phone said the change happened more than a week ago in their system.

Also this completely kills my idea to use my current JL VXI 700/5i 5 channel amp to replace the whole factory setup, skip the center dash speaker, and put a 10" sub in cargo area.

Wow, very interesting. I was assuming the 6 speaker option was 3 x 4" in dash, 2x 4x6" or so in rear pillar, and 8" sub in cargo area.

Do you have photos of the footwell speakers for the non-BO standard setup??
