I believe the same thing happened to me yesterday, but only once, and I’m not sure if the gear I was in. 2.7 auto, 4-low I was in manual mode and downshifted, but I figured I might’ve accidentally up shifted. It was very weird.
Went to Weaver lake today. Used my ARB twin air compressor and Thor Lightning 4 tire inflation kit for the first time…a game changer compared to my portable Viair 400p and single air hose.
Installed ARB twin air compressor with remote outlet behind front bumper. Wired to aux 6 switch, used KR Off-road mount. The whole install was super easy.
Just cover it up. Maybe you could try some thing like this.

I’m not sure how much it is but the website looks like it...
I mounted a 40” Baja Designs light bar to my RCI roof rack, but I don’t think that there is a way to mount it directly to the Bronco with that roof rack on.
I found this next to the rear passenger tail light assembly when installing my reverse lights. They are coordinates. I am guessing to Badlands National Park but I’m not sure. They are the same coordinates that I have on my side airbags on the passenger side.
Can definitely be frustrating. Lol I usually buy quality components for my ride, but sometimes I cheap out on the little things like butt connectors. I should’ve known better.
Thank you very much. I did use the curved heat shield, maybe it was my technique. I’ll have to practice a bit. The heat gun or wand I should say that I used had two settings, I could’ve use the wrong setting.
I have tried those and maybe I bought cheap Chinese ones but in my experience, using a heat gun specifically made for heat shrink, I ended up burning through the heat shrink by the time the solder melted. I will have to invest in better ones next time.
Absolutely and I appreciate you chiming in.
Fair. I am definitely not a wiring expert and I know there’s people on here a lot smarter than I, that’s why I was curious what others thought. This is one of the many reasons why I love this forum.
