Bringing back memories. I used to run that trail with one of my buddies when I was in college. We thought we were hardcore with our stock beaters 20+ years ago. I know one of the runs it ended up snowing on us, and somewhere I have a picture wheeling with a snowman on my hood. Fun times.
The SFR front bumper works with all the sensors and ACC without relocation brackets or other mods. It's also in-stock, ready to ship.

If you want ground clearance, we offer a 3/16" thick steel skid that doesn't hang down anywhere it doesn't have to. I'm not a big fan of big skids that reduce ground clearance everywhere, as it just means you're gonna be dragging more often. It fits with or without the sway bar disconnect as...
I think the key thing to remember here is that while magnets are easy to remove, it's simply not obvious that the plate is attached with a magnet. I have a similar magnet mount for my plate, and at a glance all you see is the bolts poking out of the plate, which makes it appear to be bolted to...
Not a lot of bumpers out there with provisions for the plate, and I can give a few reasons why. First, most people buying an aftermarket bumper would like more clearance off-road. This alone takes space away for the plate. Next is that most people want recovery points. Structurally these need to...
I remember that discussion, but i think some wires got crossed. People were talking about several different things and maybe I wasn't clear. I was talking about the rear lower control arm brackets that hang down off the frame. Most of the skids out there now mount with just a couple small bolts...
I'm not sure what skids you're referring to. I keep meaning to build skids for the rear control arm mounts on the frame, but don't really have any plans for different A-arm skids up front since these are working well.
I need to find the pictures. It was pretty funny. He was just trying to turn around on the trail and ended up completely hooked.
The kickouts on rock rails can help or hurt you. They will push you away from a rock, which might be good in some situations where you're just trying to pivot around...
The stock skids are really not skids at all IMO. At less than 1/8" thick they are barely adequate for light wheeling unless you only do sand and maybe mud or snow. If there are rocks involved you'll want to upgrade.
If you just want to add to what you already have our SFR transmission skid will...
I sold the Comanche nearly a year before getting my first Bronco, so not exactly a direct replacement, but it does occupy the same space in the shop. This was the development mule for most of our Jeep products, and my Wildtrak is the Guinea pig for all the new stuff, so I suppose they are the...
Lots of people don't like having their plate mounted on the spare tire, and I'm one of them. With that in mind we designed up a bracket that doesn't have to be removed to use the spare, and that looks a little more.....right. Mounts to existing spare tire bracket hardware and Includes license...
I'm not in the shop at the moment so I don't have the exact numbers, but off the top of my head I know the front skid set is around 60lbs, the trans skid is around 30ish. As for Aluminum, probably not in the immediate future, but I won't say not at all. To build skids from Aluminum with the same...
When I first posted pictures of this SFR bumper someone suggested doing the bottom section in black so I took the idea to my powdercoat shop to see if they could do multiple colors and they said they could. Well they definitely delivered on their promise because it came out great!
If you're in...
If you have the parking sensors there's really not room. I tried pretty hard to find a space for it but there just isn't a good spot unless I got rid of one of the tow points. The other option is to mount it below the fold on the lower section, but the plate will then hang below the bottom edge...
