Thanks for the info. On the build model you have to order the premium trim, but at least you don't to get the tuned engine. I drive too many miles and tuning usually makes the cars eat consumable components faster and the parts are more expensive. $33k vs. $20k for the Versa is pretty different.

Do you drive a lot of miles? My wife is driving 30k miles a year so we basically bought the base with heated seats, which you wouldn't need in your location. If you are driving lots of miles KISS and keep it simple as each thing you add on can break, wear faster, or has higher replacement cost.

And not a Jeep that will likely fail early. As a family who has never owned an American vehicle it is surprisingly well built and drives well.
