For those of you with RCV axles, does your passenger side have this play in it?
This was taken with the stock axles, as we were trying to diagnose suspension noise on the drivers side, which as was resolved.
The tech at the shop who installed the axles thinks this is the same as the stock...
I got the unit installed yesterday, I put the main box in the cubby in the center console where the 12v cig adapter is. Then ran the antenna under the center console behind the glove box then installed the antenna on the top right corner of the hood.
I did not want the MIC visible when Iam not...
I tried to get use to it, I didn't feel it was a very smooth transition from letting off the brake and pushing the gas pedal and having the engine start up and get going again.
I feel like the F150 I drive at work is smoother
So, I had tried to disable the Auto/Start vis ForScan after I bought my SAS, which did not work. I recently just installed the Ford Performance Tune and I noticed that after turning off the Auto/Start via the button on the center console it has remained "off" upon starting the Bronco.
I am...
ok, after looking more closely at the unit, there is a MIC jack above the power cord on the back. If I can use the Mic as a speaker that should be good for trail use.
Not sure if people are using these on the road yet - like truckers used CBs at one time.
For those of you who have installed your GMRS radio tucked away some where like the glove box or inside the center console, how well can you hear the speaker vs installing the radio on the passenger side of the console?
Maybe, I have been wheeling for 10 years and haven't seen many freak accidents...but maybe it's a Bronco thing.
But this one was definitely self inficted.
I have the JCR skids...I have not installed the transmission skid yet. I would think it would have to be the perfect storm to hit it, no not going to be common think most people are going to experience.
It looks from this vide it was a self inflicted wound by an inexpierenced driver.
Installed the tune today - it certainly gave it more pep. what number are people using for 37 in tires for revolutions? I entered 579 and I am about 1 mph faster than what GPS indicated.
