  1. New drop! Rear shocks armor skid plate cover by ASFIR

It's aluminum. It needs no color. It's under the rig and out of sight. Coating will just show the scratches once it hits anything. Just bare metal is best, most attractive with the least amount of cosmetic maintenance. The red has some advantage for you marketing the product; at least to people...
  2. Bronco November 2021 Sales & Production Numbers: 8,287 Sold / 10,504 Produced

Last week I looked into ordering a custom configured (base model + one option) Allroad for my wife (made in Germany) or Q5 (made in Mexico). Dealer quoted 6-7 months. Over 85% of Audis listed as "at dealership" or "in transit" to dealership are sold already, but Audi won't let dealers say that...
  3. 📈 Bronco December 2021 Sales & Production Numbers: 9,168 Sold / 10,851 Produced

So...what does "production" mean? Out the barn door from the assembly line and waiting for chips (my brother says there are lots on MSU Campus with Fords built but waiting for dash to be taken out, chip installed, and dash reinstalled...true?) or does it mean "DONE DONE" - buy it and drive it...
  4. 1000 mile road-trip: Interesting lessons learned

If you drive 1000 miles at 65 mph, you earn about $12/hour for driving 3 extra hours, compared to driving 80 mph.
  5. First a deer and now Bronco rollover. Stay safe out there! ❄

Those who pass me at high speed on frozen roads are almost always dudes in lifted trucks. They think they are invincible. But if ice hits a couple of tires simultaneously you may well become toast. 4WD does not help on sheet ice; especially down hill. (Testosterone poisoning doesn't seem to be...
  6. Satin Military Green 4-Door Bronco Outer Banks Build

Open the doors and these guys come spilling out...
  7. Would you buy this Mach e instead?

We have a winner! Wife needs a new rig and was checking this out on Ford’s website. Maybe the shortened wheelbase makes parallel parking easier? 🤔
  8. Would you buy this Mach e instead?

  9. Jake Owen's Bronco w/ Retro Stripes and Wheels/Tires

As a child of the 70s, I actually dig it. But I'd rather see it than own it.
  10. Ford acknowledges incredibly long delay.

I like the calendar. I like the way it looks. Better than a stupid flag. I see the irony, but in a way, its an appropriate acknowledgment.
  11. Bronco's unexpected quirks. What'cha got!?

    Must. Get. Bigger. Tires.
  12. Bronco's unexpected quirks. What'cha got!?

    2) Unprotected transmission cross-members that hang a couple inches lower than the skid plates and rock rails (2.7 auto's). This is unexpected...and disturbing.
  13. Bronco's unexpected quirks. What'cha got!?

My Bronco apparently became trapped in another dimension.
  14. Dealer drilled front grill- options?

Hmmm. Maybe dealers were complaining that they didn't want their mechanics spending the time to do it. Sure hope mine doesn't come that way.
  15. Dealer drilled front grill- options?

Maybe the dealer can swap your grill with someone who doesn't care and pay for a body shop to repair the lower holes. FMC's design is so awful it should probably reimburse the dealer for its stupidity.,,unless there's a service bulletin to dealers already telling them not to drill the holes...
  16. Bronco involved in head-on collision with Tesla in Arizona

I think the only way to put it out is Chernobyl style - dump concrete on top. FDs know this, but don't use concrete, so they have to look like they are doing something. Sorry to be cynical, but isn't that the only rational explanation other than stupidity? Someone in an FD tell me if I'm wrong...
  17. Gawker says "Wow...that the full size Bronco? All I see is little Girl Broncos..."

Such a nice color. Too bad my current car is that color and I really wanted a change so I ordered A51. Hmmm. Maybe I don't... I don't have VIN yet, so think I can still change my mind? Maybe AMB will be back in '24 when I get mine...
  18. New Illuminated Third Brake Light for Bronco

Trying to say this politely: I would never buy that in a million years...and hope I'm never stuck behind one.
