Haha, I did that once with a disgusting old couch my fatherās friend gave me when I lived in a condo in Florida. The small pieces slid down the garbage chute perfectly š¤£
I recently upgraded from the stock front plastic bumper on my OBX to a capable bumper that I bought from another B6G member. I would sell it but since these have little to no value in the marketplace, does anyone have suggestions for what to do with the plastic bumper, plastic skid, and tow...
Mine showed up with almost 30 miles on it and a note that it received additional QC checks. It was delivered with a crushed wiring harness and the taillights didnāt work. So, yeah, Iād check anyway.
Mine is in this date range. Just checked my coolant level and oil. Coolant is just above minimum line, which made me think it could be low, but the oil seems good and clear but had a faint odor of gas. Just chatted with service rep at the local dealer and rep suggested I could add a little...
That shade of blue is just too light for a 4 door. It might look decent on a 2 door. Similar to how I feel about iconic silver. I agree with others about the heritage limited interior, it rocks. The standard heritage interior has too much of an 80s vibe for my taste.
I asked RCI the same questionā¦
Hi Don,
Either option will work for you, but I would recommend the Mod bumper option as the capable bumper resembles the modular bumper considerably closer than that of the plastic bumper.
Thanks,

Excellent! You mean you stayed calm, communicated with Chapman, and it all worked out? According to some you did it all wrong and shouldāve jumped in your car drove there and did the followingā¦
Glad you didnāt listen to that advice. Most of us that have done business with them have been able to...
I think you are on to something due to switch to the Heritage. Thatās a body code change and according to RangarKonās price protection flowchart, thatās a likely culprit that flushes the certificates. Not sure if Chapman could work with Ford to restore them but if they canāt see them in Smart...
Nonsense. I donāt think this is a Chapman created problem. I went through Chapman and paid $10k under sticker. My local dealer was, at best, MSRP if you could hold them to it or as much as $20k adm over MSRP for stock. They even played games with some order holders after the truck arrived where...
Mine took 10 days to get from Port Wilmington to Chapman. Not sure what the holdup was? Others only took a 2-3 days. Hopefully yours is closer to the 2-3, youāve waited long enough.
I have no idea if you are referring to my deal or your deal or someoneās elseās but overall I got everything I was entitled to and donāt feel misled or bitter. One thing I learned a long time ago is that car dealers are not your friend, most are not going to look out for you, and if you donāt...
Since the specifics of my deal donāt apply to everyone there is no need to detail it here. Everyone needs to calculate it for themselves. I will say that, like many others here have reported here, I was $10k under sticker.
This isnāt mine but Tim Bartz shared it on his videocast a few months ago. It comes directly from Ford to dealers and confirms dealers are reimbursed for in year price increases.
I was assigned Matt H. He was good to work with and had to go back to Ford to straighten out my certificates in...
I got the transition year offer + mod offer + retail price protection (to mitigate the mid year cost increase) with d&d at last years rate and the 3% under dealer invoice. And yes, like others have mentioned, their initial outreach to me did not include all of it and they disputed the Dora...
