  1. 🎬 Bronco Scheduling Today (1/20) is Underway!

Reading through build week threads, I've seen members who ordered soft tops in October get their build dates in January.
  2. 🎬 Bronco Scheduling Today (1/20) is Underway!

So you mean 2022, like you just ordered it, or you've been waiting a year for a soft top?
  3. 🎬 Bronco Scheduling Today (1/20) is Underway!

Did the same. Called Ford a few hours ago. They gave me my VIN. The customer service agent said this is the most VINs she gave out since she started. Usually, she has nothing to offer but pleasantries. So, I have a VIN but no email from Ford, no info on the reservation tracker, and no build...
  4. my order date is 1/26/2021

Agree, what is your reservation date? Does your dealer have enough allocated slots to 'get to you' given their other order's reservation dates and build constraints? If they have five slots and five builds are in front of you, your build is not imminent.
  5. Another blown 2.7 UPDATE

Agree, plus, make sure you get a comp extended warranty from Ford to cover any residual issues and regain your trust.
  6. Ford Account Site Finally Has Rendering Match Order

I don't think it means much. The Ford website switched to my proper configuration a few weeks ago. I don't feel like my Bronco delivery is any closer but I'm a little more confident that they'll get the order right. FYI - I stopped using the website and started using the link I found here on...
  7. Wash out flooring question

Yes, saw the details. You have to pay $160 to get part code 47C (without Carpet Mats).
  8. Wash out flooring question

Great question. I agree with Bonnie6G. It helps keep your original floor in good shape. If you wear out your driver's side rubber mat, you can replace the set for $160.
  9. Sad to have to be pulled out by…… JEEP

See, your wife was right :)
  10. Poll: Reason for Ordering A Bronco

Great thread! I love reading about all the memories and nostalgia surrounding the Bronco. What a history. I've always been a Bronco fan but have no personal experience. I've owned a few Ford SUVs without issue. I actually was looking forward to the new Defender (had the 1997 D90) but when the...
  11. 2-Door Bronco vs 2-Door Defender Comparison Review Video by Edmunds

The new Bronco is a few inches wider than the D90 (which is a few inches wide than a Wrangler). Bronco is more than a few inches longer. The D90 is a few inches taller. The D90 driver's seat is like a dining room chair. It sits upright. That, combined with the solid front axle, made for a truck...
  12. 2-Door Bronco vs 2-Door Defender Comparison Review Video by Edmunds

In the same boat. Owned a 97 Defender for years. Waited anxiously for the D90 return. When it came back as a body mod to the low end Range Rover, I was thoroughly disappointed. Bronco saved the day, offering what I see as a real D90 replacement...a kinda modernized Defender. Check stats, the...
  13. I finally got my bronco! (With the wrong seats)

Unbelievable. Only acceptable solution is to swap the front seats so they match.
  14. 📒 Latest 2022 Bronco Order Guide Released (Updated Monthly) + Price List

Am I reading right, SAS on Badlands increased by $1,595?
  15. 2022 Bronco Price Protection Announced

This statement implies that Ford will issue credits based on your current order rather than your reservation/order as of 3/19. I hope the credit is for the current Badlands order that's in their system and not the Base model I reserved/initially ordered to get a timestamp/place in line. Edit...
  16. Time to reorder 2021 Bronco

FYI - I called Ford. They had all the right information. Reservation number, order number, sales number, email, etc. all linked together on my order. They said their website only shows the original reservation. They have limited access to order details but confirmed that the dealer-provided...
  17. Time to reorder 2021 Bronco

Same here. I love to see progress on the website but my confirmed order is not showing.
  18. Over MSRP and insurance question...

It's not totally foreign. Dealers somehow cut loans for people with negative equity on their trade-in. For example, a loan that covers the cost of the new car and the $3000 difference between what you owe on your trade-in and what the dealer is giving for it.
  19. Over MSRP and insurance question...

^ This Take out a loan/lease for the entire purchase price and buy gap insurance. In theory, if the vehicle is worth less than your loan the gap insurance covers the difference. It'll cost a few grand in interest & fees to go the loan/lease route but if you're putting $20K at risk it could be...
